Summary:  The US Wealth Advisory (USWA) COO team is looking for a Vice President, Business Intelligence Strategy Lead. In this role, you will synthesize industry, client, product and competitor trends to develop insights that drive commercial decision-making across USWA business functions. Leading a nimble team and reporting to the head of USWA business strategy & planning, this role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our forward-looking operations and strategic direction, and craft the narrative of our business to senior stakeholders across the firm. Responsibilities:

  • Lead a function responsible for executing the systematic production and distribution of regular business insights.

  • Assess initiatives and results relative to wealth trends and evolving competition to recommend near- and mid-term actions that drive business growth.

  • Run the USWA and firm-level quarterly business review process for the business, interfacing with senior leaders.

  • Prepare narratives and materials for Board meetings and Operating reviews.

  • Build and maintain a forward-looking, prioritized roadmap of strategic projects across USWA strategy partners.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales leadership, USWA senior leadership, and other partners, to ensure seamless project execution.

  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management.

  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus.

  • Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in financial services, with a focus on corporate strategy, consulting and/or strategic project management.

  • Proven track record of leading and managing high-performing employees and teams.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and drive results.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

  • In-depth knowledge of the financial markets, wealth management and asset management industry.

  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, including Microsoft Project, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Excel.

For New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$137,500.00 - USD$194,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance. For Princeton, NJ Only the salary range for this position is USD$127,500.00 - USD$184,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
