This position will be a hybrid work arrangement, which translates to 2-3 days minimum per week in the office.

HarbourVest is seeking a VP, Product Manager – Wealth CRM to lead a strategic technology initiative focused on optimizing the Wealth channel and client experience through the deployment and optimization of a strategic CRM solution set. This role will be primarily focused on designing, building, and implementing Salesforce as the primary CRM capability, and potentially other tools as required.

This individual will be focused on leading the evolution and scaling of the firm’s Wealth business and applicable products by articulating the vision, business capabilities, and driving the right process model and CRM solutions that optimize user workflows, enhance the client experience, and improve operational efficiency. This role is will be accountable for incorporating the feedback and needs of stakeholders across our Wealth and Institutional business.

The candidate understands investor needs in the Wealth channel, has extensive CRM and Salesforce experience, and has a command of the various touchpoints across the private wealth client and sales lifecycle. This person is passionate about building technology-enabled solutions that provide value to clients and business partners.

The role will report into the MD, Head of Enterprise Continuous Improvement.

The ideal candidate is someone who is:

  • Experienced in the design, implementation, and delivery of technology products including leading the design, build, and implementation of Salesforce; particularly in a Wealth management business
  • Strong background in wealth management with an understanding of advisory, portfolio management, client onboarding, regulatory requirements and operational workflows
  • Experience effectively implementing and managing change across business units
  • Demonstrated ability to lead independently, confidently and effectively working across partners to design, build, implement solutions both during the build phase and in ongoing optimization of the CRM products

What you will do:

  • Build and provide business product management and ownership for Salesforce technology and capability roadmap to support scaling the Wealth business
  • Partner with Head of Wealth, Wealth Leadership Team, IT, and other Leaders to align on Product vision and strategy, priorities, capabilities, and direction for the Salesforce Platform while focusing on daily execution
  • Effectively communicate and socialize Wealth strategy and product updates to Business and IT partners
  • Drive business value creation to inform product and technology roadmap prioritization
  • Build and lead the product backlog, ensuring developmental efforts align with business needs and technical feasibility
  • Support and influence user adoption and understanding, such as through training and demos
  • What you bring:
  • Salesforce Administrator or Advanced Administrator desired
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills with experience influencing leadership
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • Experience with agile methodology
  • Proven track record to understand sophisticated process and technical requirements and ability to translate into a capability roadmap
  • Expertise with Salesforce and Client data models and data sets​

Education Preferred

  • Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience required
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred

Experience

  • 10-15 years of delivering business outcomes in product management/ownership, technology, business analysis, private equity, wealth and/or consulting
