The Opportunity
We're looking for a strategic and hands-on VP of Human Resources to take our HR function to the next level. You'll inherit a solid foundation and have the exciting opportunity to define what a scaled, global workforce looks like at Teramind. This includes architecting systems and processes that support both employees and contractors across multiple geographies, implementing our first comprehensive HRIS, and establishing the formal HR infrastructure that will carry us through our next phase of growth.

What You'll Do
Strategic Workforce Planning
• Define and execute Teramind's global workforce model for employees and contractors
• Align HR strategy with business objectives and design scalable organizational structures

Systems & Infrastructure
• Implement enterprise HRIS and establish formal HR processes across the employee lifecycle
• Build data-driven analytics capabilities to inform strategic decisions
• Global HR Operations
• Develop compliant frameworks for managing international employees and contractors
• Create equitable compensation and benefits strategies for distributed teams

Talent Acquisition
• Partner with the Director of Talent Acquisition to scale hiring across technical and non-technical roles
• Develop employer branding and sourcing strategies for competitive markets
• Establish recruiting metrics and processes that ensure quality while reducing time-to-fill

Learning & Development
• Design comprehensive L&D strategy supporting career growth and leadership development
• Optimize onboarding and create continuous learning opportunities
• Build performance enablement culture connecting individual growth to organizational success

Talent & Culture
• Implement performance management systems that drive accountability and growth
• Champion culture while scaling to maintain Teramind as a great workplace

Leadership & Team Development
• Build and mentor the HR team to support organizational growth
• Serve as trusted advisor to executive team and drive change management initiatives

What You Bring
Required Experience
• 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
• Proven track record of scaling HR functions in high-growth technology companies (50-500+ employees)
• Hands-on experience implementing HRIS platforms and designing formal HR processes from the ground up
• Experience with US and global benefits administration
• Deep expertise managing global, distributed workforces including both employees and contractors

• Strategic thinker who can also roll up their sleeves and execute
• Systems-oriented mindset with experience in HR technology and process optimization
• Exceptional communication and influencing skills across all organizational levels
• Data-driven decision maker with strong analytical capabilities
• Change management expertise with the ability to bring people along on the journey
• Experience in fast-paced, ambiguous environments where you've built structure and scalability
• SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or similar certification valued
