Shape how a leading global brand sets strategy, makes decisions, and delivers impact. This role sits at the center of enterprise brand leadership—turning insight into action and enabling disciplined execution across priorities that matter most.
As a Vice President in Brand, you lead strategic planning and the operating rhythm for the Office of the Global Chief Brand Officer. You connect insights, business priorities, brand architecture, creative ambition, and investment decisions into a focused agenda and translate complex inputs into decision-ready recommendations. You mobilize senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver measurable outcomes and drive disciplined follow-through.
Job responsibilities
- Lead the development and ongoing evolution of Brand’s strategic framework, value propositions, and operating principles to create coherence across the organization.
- Serve as a trusted counselor and thought partner to the Global Chief Brand Officer, bringing enterprise perspective, constructive challenge, sound judgment, and clear recommendations on priority decisions.
- Own the strategic planning and management cadence for the Office of the Global Chief Brand Officer, including annual and multi-year priorities, leadership agendas, executive reviews, milestones, dependencies, decisions, risks, and follow-through.
- Develop decision-ready materials for senior leadership by translating complex inputs into concise narratives, choices, implications, recommendations, and measures of success.
- Lead selected brand-wide initiatives from definition through implementation by defining scope, decision rights, resourcing needs, and performance measures.
- Partner with the Brand Leadership Team to connect customer, category, and insights to brand choices; identify emerging opportunities and risks; and translate them into practical implications for strategy, experiences, partnerships, creative work, and investment.
- Partner with business and functional leaders to align firm-level and business-specific objectives, resolve competing priorities, and clarify where work should be standardized, adapted, or differentiated.
- Enable the Brand leadership team as a force multiplier by creating shared context, surfacing issues early, facilitating decisions, strengthening communication, and ensuring commitments are explicit, owned, and completed.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team while setting direction and creating accountability across cross-functional teams that may not report directly to this role.
- Shape the executive positioning and thought leadership of the Global Chief Brand Officer by drafting and refining communications for internal, external, and social forums in the executive’s voice.
- Build working knowledge of Brand and Marketing disciplines, capabilities, workflows, and interdependencies to identify opportunities to simplify and standardize processes, strengthen internal capabilities, reduce agency reliance where appropriate, and responsibly integrate artificial intelligence across the creative development and production lifecycle.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Demonstrate extensive experience in brand strategy, marketing strategy, management consulting, chief of staff roles, corporate strategy, or closely related disciplines, including advising senior executives.
- Apply strong knowledge of brand and marketing fundamentals, including positioning, brand experience, creative strategy, integrated marketing, and measurement.
- Evaluate operating models, workflows, internal capabilities, agency roles, and emerging artificial intelligence-enabled opportunities with cross-disciplinary fluency.
- Define strategy and translate it into clear priorities, operating plans, and measurable outcomes across a large, complex organization.
- Communicate with exceptional executive presence by synthesizing ambiguity, framing choices, writing with precision, and presenting recommendations credibly to senior leaders.
- Influence across organizational boundaries and align stakeholders with different objectives.
- Exercise sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential matters, executive priorities, organizational issues, and reputationally sensitive topics.
- Lead and develop high-performing teams and coordinate effectively across multiple levels of seniority.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Hold a Master of Business Administration degree in marketing, management, finance, business management, or related fields.
- Bring experience partnering closely with brand finance, operations, or investment governance teams.
- Demonstrate experience establishing enterprise operating rhythms (for example, leadership cadences, executive reviews, milestone tracking, risk management, and follow-through).
- Show experience drafting executive communications for internal and external audiences.
Additional Information
- Define measures of success through explicit priorities, decision rights, milestones, owners, and reliable follow-through.
- Strengthen connectivity across business and functional brand strategies by reducing duplication, clarifying escalation paths, and improving coordination.

- Advance modern ways of working and leadership culture to improve speed, quality, accountability, collaboration, talent development, and succession readiness.
