The Opportunity

This is a senior, high-visibility role reporting directly to the Chief Growth Officer, owning the demand engine for the SavATree brand. The mandate is to drive more qualified leads across ~100 owned & operated local branches at a cost-efficient ROAS target — while supporting LTV growth thru driving xsell/upsell services.

You will run a $15M+ budget that you will plan down to the branch level and deploy across channels, agencies, and contractors to support qualified lead gen while managing to cost-per-lead (CPL), Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), and ROAS.

We are looking for a leader who sets demand strategy and sees around corners — not only an optimizer. You will be hands-on and data-rigorous but you will be expected to think bigger: where the next point of growth comes from, how we win local search, how we support must-win markets, and how AI and automation will drive our success.

What you'll own

Lead generation & advertising

  • Paid search and Google Local Services Ads (LSAs)
  • Paid social
  • Connected TV & video
  • SEO, local and multi-location SEO across ~100 branch markets
  • Website and conversion-rate optimization (CRO)
  • Direct mail
  • Print and offline advertising
  • Offer testing
  • Incrementality and ROI measurement
  • Commercial / B2B demand generation
  • Local media budget, pacing, and ROI — managed to CAC, CPL, and ROAS at the branch level
  • Agency & contractor management and accountability
  • Growing the recurring / subscriber base as a primary funnel objective

Where you’ll partner

You'll partner closely with peer leaders in marketing to achieve success for the brand:

  • Director of Brand & Integrated Marketing who drives campaign calendar, brand marketing, creative, product marketing, PR, organic social, de novo launch / field marketing
  • VP CRM who drives automation & lifecycle via email/SMS lifecycle, CRM, and data pipelines for marketing

Your team

You will lead a team of three plus a roster of agencies and contractors. You'll have the latitude to shape, develop, and make changes to deliver outcomes.

Why you’ll love this role

We are a scaling company with industry leader category status, that has high growth expectations and the organizational ability to move quickly. We are data-driven with access to the data you’ll need to succeed. This role’s executive sponsor operates with a highly aligned, loosely coupled approach to people management - the person in this role will have the latitude to move fast because they exhibit superior judgment and strategic thinking behind their decisions.

The right candidate has expertise in:

  • Digital channel management– particularly in paid social and CTV, but also AdWords, Google LSAs, SEO
  • Offline channels (direct mail, print, local radio)
  • Multi-location / field-based business — ideally managing performance down to the location level
  • Managing media investments to a CAC target and/or ROAS
  • Experience developing incrementality and attribution measures of media & channel efficacy
  • Building landing-page experiences and running disciplined A/B testing to measure impact
  • Managing agencies and contractors with a hands-on approach — you drive accountability and continuous improvement in performance
  • Treating ad copy and creative as a lever, not an afterthought — partnering with brand/creative to make ads more effective while respecting brand guidelines and how we show up
  • Commercial / B2B demand generation (a plus)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years in marketing with a focus on B2C customer acquisition / demand generation, including experience leading a team
  • Experience in B2C multi-location and/or field-based businesses strongly preferred
  • Deeply analytical, with a focus on CAC, CPL, ROAS, and measurable ROI
  • Proven track record managing successful cross-channel acquisition programs at scale
  • Strong project-management skills and attention to detail, with the ability to run many efforts simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – experienced in executive presentation of marketing efforts
  • Track record collaborating with cross-functional teams and non-marketing operators

Desired Attributes

  • Strategic thinker who can take a high-level objective and run with it.
  • Focuses on strategy over just “adding channels” – how to reach the right audience and where that audience will be
  • Experienced leveraging AI to drive team efficiencies and growth objectives
  • Comfortable moving between tactical and strategic work – all of us are still hands on at all levels of the business
  • Measurement-obsessed — you ensure every dollar is working on strategies that move the needle
  • Builds relationships across many personalities — this role supports operators across the entire country
  • Creates lightweight process where needed to simplify
  • Low ego — you focus on team wins and care little who gets credit
  • High ambition — you do great work because its core to who you are
  • Thrives in ambiguity and a fast-changing environment
