Role Overview

The remote Vice President of Product Marketing will be responsible for crafting and executing a comprehensive content and product marketing strategy that builds brand authority, engages diverse audiences, and fuels business growth. This senior leader will oversee a multi-channel content ecosystem, including editorial, video, social, SEO, thought leadership, and campaign content and ensure alignment with MARA’s overarching business goals.

This role requires a blend of strategic vision, creative leadership, and operational excellence, with the ability to inspire teams, manage complex initiatives, and measure success.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership
  • Define and own the company’s content and product marketing vision, mission, and strategic roadmap.
  • Partner with executive leadership to ensure content supports corporate objectives, product launches, and brand positioning.
  • Develop audience-centric marketing strategies informed by data, market insights, and brand identity.
Content Development & Management
  • Oversee the creation of high-impact product content across formats (articles, videos, infographics, podcasts, whitepapers, case studies, and more).
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand voice, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Implement editorial guidelines, workflows, and governance models for consistency and scalability.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
  • Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing global content team, including writers, editors, and strategists.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with communications, design, and growth teams.
  • Foster a culture of creativity, accountability, and curiosity
Performance & Optimization
  • Leverage analytics to track performance, measure ROI, and optimize content strategies.
  • Drive organic growth through SEO, content distribution, and strategic partnerships.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging platforms, and new storytelling formats.
Qualifications & Experience
  • 10+ years in marketing or communications, with at least 5 years in leadership roles
  • Proven track record of building and scaling successful multi-channel content programs
  • Experience building product marketing strategies from 0-1
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with a portfolio of high-impact campaigns
  • Experience managing large budgets and complex cross-functional projects
  • Expertise in SEO, content analytics, and digital distribution channels
