Voice is a nonpartisan news app where voters rate their local politicians on the moments that matter — and those ratings fuel a public political barometer. Don't follow politics. Change them.
We're looking for a freelance designer-developer to join our small team. You'll design mobile UX/UI in Figma and build it as production front-end code in our Next.js app. One person, no handoff friction — concept to shipped product.
The role:
- Design end-to-end mobile UX/UI in Figma
- Write production-ready front-end code (Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui)
- Craft mobile web experiences that feel native on iOS and Android
- Ship alongside our founder and engineer in fast sprints
You should have:
- 3+ years UX/UI design with a strong mobile portfolio
- Expert Figma skills
- Production React/Next.js and Tailwind CSS code
- Mobile-first design instincts and iOS experience
To apply: Send your portfolio, 2–3 projects where you designed and built the front-end, your availability and rate, and a quick note on why Voice interests you.
