DescriptionWe are looking for a talented and passionate designer to help define and bring to life a range of solutions related to Verily’s Precision Health Platform.
This role is part of our Platform UX team, a highly-collaborative group of designers, researchers, and content strategists focused on:
Building blocks like our Verily Design System that enable rapid deployment of world-class care and research programs.
Tools for professionals to design, configure, and operate innovative care and clinical research programs.
Verily’s growing data ecosystem, including Workbench, a biomedical research platform that makes the world’s most scientifically valuable data discoverable, accessible, and analyzable.
As a UX Designer focused on Verily’s data platform and enterprise products, you will collaborate with other designers, UX researchers, product managers, software engineers, and data scientists to help to solve some of the biggest challenges in healthcare and clinical research. You will drive the end-to-end design process for a mix of projects, from discovery through to detailed execution, with the opportunity to distill complex problems into simple, beautiful, and powerful interfaces.

ResponsibilitiesTake ownership of one or more parts of the platform user experience, including designing interactions and interfaces.
Collaborate with user researchers, product managers, content designers, and clinical/scientific domain experts to understand needs, identify opportunities and constraints, and rapidly iterate designs based on user feedback.
Work with our engineering team to ensure designs are implemented with quality, and collaborate with them to come up with creative solutions when technical challenges arise.
Level up our team culture & practice by contributing to our design system, participating in critiques, and collaborating on company-wide UX initiatives, interest groups, and other activities.
Evangelize UX through your quality of work, communication, and user advocacy.
Minimum Qualifications
An outstanding portfolio of thoughtfully designed products, demonstrating work across the end-to-end design process, from developing strong conceptual foundations to refining the smallest details with clear rationale.
Bachelor's degree in UX Design, HCI, Interaction Design, or related field with 2+ years of professional UX Design experience.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills, with proven success working and aligning with cross-functional stakeholders such as product managers, researchers, and software engineers.
Familiarity with Figma as well as the technical intricacies of designing rich, accessible, responsive web applications.
Preferred Qualifications
Past work that focuses on Enterprise products, Data platforms, Healthcare, Medical services, or other relevant areas.
Experience designing rich data visualizations, complex professional tools, flexible enterprise platforms, AI utilities, or related design solutions.
Proven track record in bringing projects to launch into a commercial market.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $96,000 - $136,000 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
