About this role/team:

We’re looking for an experienced UX Design Lead to shape user experiences across our core user-facing products. This role will be central in defining design standards, leading discovery and execution, and collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders. You’ll drive design excellence with a strong focus on usability, retention, and a clean, intuitive experience. This role will report to the Workflow Group Product Manager. 

Responsibilities:

You will partner with PMs, Engineers, Growth, Operations, and Creative teams to define requirements, scope solutions, documentation, and ship high-quality experiences.You will lead UX design strategy and execution for external-facing, data-intensive platforms, simplifying complex workflows and ensuring experiences are intuitive, consistent, and aligned with business goals.You will establish lightweight processes for design reviews, design QA, and documentation.You will ensure design deliverables move smoothly through product roadmapsYou will manage external design contractors, including onboarding, quality review, and workload allocationYou will ensure the design system and component libraries scale with product growth.You will keep design patterns aligned with accessibility, internationalization, and platform best practices.

Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in UX, Product Design, or Interaction Design, with at least 5+ years in a lead or senior IC role. 
  • Proven track record designing for data-heavy, external-facing platforms
  • Experience setting and enforcing design standards across teams
  • Experience managing contractors, agencies, or external design partners.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design process: discovery, ideation, iteration, and delivery.
  • Expertise with design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, prototyping tools). Experience with Storybook/ CSS is a bonus. 
  • Strong understanding of UX principles, information architecture, and usability testing methods.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities.

Location:
This role is eligible for full-time remote work in one of our entities: CA, CO, ID, IL, FL, GA, MA, MI, MN, MO, NJ, NV, NY, OR, TX, UT, and WA.

We are a remote-first company with US hubs in Redwood City, Los Angeles, and New York City.

Travel Expectations:
We offer several opportunities for in-person team gatherings, including but not limited to project meetings, regional meetups, and company-wide events. We expect our employees to attend these gatherings at least once per quarter. These gatherings provide essential opportunities for collaboration, communication, and team building.
