About Wing:

Wing offers drone delivery as a safe, fast, and sustainable solution for last mile logistics. Consumer appetites for on-demand services are increasing, but current delivery methods are inefficient, costly, and contribute to road accidents and air pollution. Wing’s fleet of highly automated delivery drones can transport small packages directly from businesses to homes on-demand, in minutes. We design, build, and operate our aircraft, and offer drone delivery services on two continents. Our technology is designed to be easy to integrate into existing delivery and logistics networks, offering a scalable drone delivery solution for a broad range of businesses. Wing is a part of Google's parent company, Alphabet, and our mission is to create the preferred means of delivery for the planet. If you're ready to do the greatest work of your life, come join us.

About the Role:

Wing is looking for a UTM Digital Ecosystem Manager to join our Digital UTM Ecosystem team. This role is remote based in the United States.

As the Manager for the UTM Digital Ecosystem, you will take ownership of launching, executing, and scaling UTM ecosystems across both new and existing global markets. You will be responsible for unpacking complex technical and strategic landscapes into actionable implementation plans, including managing industry standards and multi-stakeholder governance frameworks. In this role, you will define and shape digital UTM services across the ecosystem, lead and implement country-specific technical roadmaps, and collaborate closely with cross-functional product and engineering teams to conduct gap analyses and drive end-to-end implementation for first-of-their-kind UTM initiatives.

The position seeks highly-motivated individuals who enjoy working in a highly dynamic, execution-focused team environment. The successful candidate is able to demonstrate a broad technical product strategy and ecosystem management skill set based on experience driving complex technical programs from policy and regulatory alignment, through ecosystem architecture, all the way to cross-functional implementation. We’re looking for people who are intrinsically driven to solve hard problems with stunningly simple solutions, move fast, and are highly adaptive.

What You’ll Do:

  • Launch UTM digital ecosystems across key international markets (including the US, UK, EU, APAC) enabling scaled UAS operations
  • Lead and execute country-specific ecosystem technical roadmaps alongside global stakeholders, ensuring clear decision-making frameworks
  • Unpack the global regulatory and market landscape, identifying and closing key UTM product and technical standards gaps with buy in across regulators, industry and other key stakeholders
  • Shape and establish comprehensive service definitions for digital exchanges with the broader ecosystem
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Policy, Regulatory, Software Engineering, and other Product teams to identify gap analyses and implement first-of-a-kind ecosystem initiatives

What You’ll Need:

  • 8+ years of experience in launching technical products in emerging technologies, go to market product strategy in regulated markets, and/or unmanned traffic management (UTM) ecosystems
  • Bachelor's degree in a directly related technical field (e.g., Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science) or equivalent practical experience
  • Deep familiarity with global drone-related technical standards organizations and working groups (e.g., ASTM, EUROCAE)
  • Excellent cross-functional leadership skills with a track record of driving alignment between product, policy, engineering, and external industry consortiums
