Job Description
HiBob helps modern, mid-size businesses transform the way they manage people, giving HR and managers the tools they need to connect, engage, develop, and retain their people.
Our HR platform is intuitive, data-driven, and built for the way people work today: globally, remotely, and collaboratively. Fast-growing companies across the globe rely on Bob to help them create better work experiences for their people.
Come and be you with us
Being a Bobber is all about being you. We want you to bring all parts of yourself to work, giving you the freedom and confidence to be the best you and do your best work. If that's bubbly, shy, precise, funny, bold, kind, honest, brilliant, or anything in between, we're waiting with open arms. Come join us.
About the role
We're looking for a UK Managed Services Payroll Team Lead to lead and develop our growing Managed Services payroll team.
This is a key operational leadership role with ownership of a fully remote team of experienced payroll professionals. You'll be responsible for how the team performs day to day; from coaching and development to service delivery, escalations, operational performance, and customer experience.
But this isn't just about keeping payrolls running. Our Managed Services function is scaling quickly, and you'll play an important role in shaping how we grow. Working closely with our Payroll Advisory Lead and operational teams, you'll find smarter ways of working, strengthen team capability, and help us build a payroll service that can scale without compromising on quality or customer experience.
We're looking for someone who combines genuine payroll expertise with great people leadership. You'll know when to coach, when to challenge, and when to get into the detail yourself.

You'll inherit an experienced team, but you'll also have plenty to shape; how we develop our people, improve the customer experience, create efficiencies, and scale the operation as demand grows.
You'll have real ownership rather than simply maintaining an established function, with the opportunity to influence how Managed Services evolves while working closely with payroll leadership and teams across HiBob.
If you're a payroll leader who enjoys developing people, solving operational problems, and building better ways of working, we'd love to hear from you.
