This role owns the integrated U.S. brand strategy, launch roadmap, market-shaping agenda, and commercial execution across relevant customer and stakeholder segments upon launch. The Brand Lead will translate scientific and market insights into a differentiated launch strategy for an oral hematology therapy and mobilize cross-functional teams to deliver launch readiness, adoption, and sustainable growth.

Success requires deep hematology/oncology expertise and commercialization experience, proven launch leadership, ability to build and manage teams, market-shaping capability, scientific acumen, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders and deliver results through a matrixed organization.

WHAT - Main Responsibilities

Brand Strategy

  • Own and drive the U.S. brand strategy, including pre-launch planning, positioning, value narrative, and long-range plan for Navtemadlin.
  • Lead the end-to-end U.S. launch strategy and integrated launch plan, translating strategic choices into clear workstreams, milestones, accountabilities, and decision points.
  • Ensure a single, differentiated, and scientifically credible brand narrative across customer segments, channels, and cross-functional partners.
  • Lead scenario planning for key clinical, regulatory, competitive, access, and operational uncertainties, and drive timely mitigation and course correction.
  • Build a lifecycle strategy that anticipates future evidence, indications, combinations, customer needs, and competitive developments.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive market-shaping strategy to build disease awareness, clarify the patient journey, strengthen diagnostic and referral pathways, and prepare the market for launch.
  • Identify and prioritize the stakeholders, institutions, care settings, and treatment decision points that will most influence launch success.
  • Generate actionable insights from hematologists/oncologists, patients, caregivers, advocacy organizations, payers, health systems, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Partner with Medical Affairs and Market Access to address evidence, education, access, and adoption barriers within appropriate functional and compliance boundaries.
  • Define the commercial model for an oral therapy, including customer engagement, patient identification, treatment initiation, adherence, persistence, distribution, access, and support considerations.
  • Shape an integrated professional and patient/caregiver experience that is consistent, relevant, and measurable across personal and non-personal channels.

Commercial Accountability

  • Own launch objectives, performance indicators, critical success factors, and the commercial operating plan for the brand.
  • Own the U.S. brand P&L assumptions, commercial investment strategy, and long-term business performance objectives, ensuring alignment between strategic priorities, portfolio value creation, and resource allocation.
  • Lead integrated tactical planning and omnichannel execution across healthcare professionals, institutions, patients, and caregivers.
  • Partner with Sales leadership to design the field strategy, customer segmentation, targeting, deployment assumptions, training priorities, and pull-through approach.
  • Oversee budget planning, forecasting inputs, agency management, and resource allocation to maximize launch impact and return on investment.
  • Establish launch dashboards and review mechanisms; monitor readiness and in-market performance, identify risks and opportunities, and drive rapid course correction.
  • Ensure strong insights generation, analytics, competitive intelligence, and performance measurement to inform decisions

Team & Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Lead and develop a high-performing brand team culture grounded in accountability, collaboration, patient focus, innovation, and disciplined execution.
  • Establish launch governance, decision rights, escalation pathways, and prioritization across the core brand and launch teams.
  • Represent Ipsen externally with key opinion leaders, advocacy organizations, professional societies, and strategic healthcare stakeholders to shape the future treatment landscape and strengthen Ipsen's leadership in hematology
  • Drive alignment across Sales, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Patient Services, Analytics, Forecasting, Regulatory, Legal, Compliance, Communications, Supply, Finance, and Global teams.
  • Serve as the central commercial integrator across launch initiatives, ensuring consistency, sequencing, and efficient use of resources.
  • Communicate and influence effectively at the executive level through launch reviews, business reviews, investment decisions, and leadership updates.
  • Build productive external partnerships with agencies, vendors, and other partners as required.
  • Anticipate emerging market trends, competitive threats, and evolving standards of care, proactively identifying strategic opportunities to differentiate Navtemadlin and strengthen Ipsen's competitive position.
  • Build and scale the commercial capabilities, talent, and operating model necessary to support a successful launch and long-term franchise growth.
