Position Identification

  • Job Title – Territory Manager – Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota
  • Job Function - Sales
  • Report to – Regional Director – Midwest Region

Job Purpose

As Hankook Tire’s brand awareness grows, it is an exciting time to join our sales team as a Territory Manager representing one of the fastest growing tire brands in America.  The Territory Manager strives to achieve assigned territory sales goals through partnerships with tire wholesalers, distributors and dealers.

Key Accountabilities

  • Act as primary contact for Hankook Tire America to dealer network within geographic area as assigned
  • Inform dealers of all essential Hankook programs, policies and new products
  • Handle all dealer issues and concerns, maintaining excellent customer service
  • Train and work with dealer personnel as required
  • Obtain current market information and trends in order to maintain awareness of competition
  • Establish Hankook Tire brand awareness
  • Prospect new business
  • Monitor territory sales performance
  • Submit all reports as required
  • Attend industry trade shows as needed
  • Any other duties/responsibilities as assigned by Management

Level of Accountabilities

  • Responsible for managing sales for a specific geographic territory
  • Builds relationships with decision makers at wholesalers, distributors, and dealers

Qualifications

  • High School diploma required, college preferred 
  • Minimum 5 years outside sales experience
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Industry experience required
  • Must be able to travel 70% of the time 
  • Must live or be willing to relocate to Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota
