Oversee projects related to eviction prevention and asset building, managing multiple workstreams, coordination of stakeholders, and daily operations.
Connected Communities is WinnCompanies’ 501(c)3 non-profit affiliate dedicated to the creation and growth of community-based programs, services and public policies that support measurable social outcomes for affordable housing communities across the country. Its Economic Mobility department creates and manages programs centered on residents’ economic stability and mobility.
We are seeking a motivated Economic Mobility Project Manager to assist in implementation of several key projects over the coming year related to eviction prevention and asset building. As these projects have high stakes for our residents’ financial and housing security, the Economic Mobility Project Manager must be accurate, thorough, and able to navigate roadblocks to get the job done. Preference for ability to commute to Headquarters in Boston, MA, but open to strong candidates in other locations where WinnCompanies operates.
The pay range for this position is $100,000-$115,000 annually dependent on experience. Please note that the selected candidate will adhere to the following hybrid work model: Monday through Thursday from 9:00AM to 5:00PM in our Boston HQ and Friday's remote. *As it is a temporary, full-time position, it does NOT provide the standard Winn benefits listed at the bottom of this posting, other than sick time.*
Responsibilities
- Manage project to stand up new asset-building program, which will span multiple phases and workstreams (e.g. data infrastructure, process development, policy development) and require coordination of cross-departmental stakeholders.
- Manage daily operations of existing eviction prevention program, including quarterbacking work of cross-functional contributors (viz. property managers, attorneys, accountants, IT administrators, resident service coordinators), liaising with asset manager clients, and directly handling and manipulating data with complex architecture.
- Manage project to scale existing eviction prevention program and expand to new markets, which may include process development, data analysis, and light financial modeling.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- 3-5 years relevant work experience.
- Less than 1 year of supervisory / managerial experience.
- High proficiency web-based applications and computer systems specifically in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of data architecture and management.
- Experience managing projects with multiple workstreams and phases.
- Understanding of project management practices and principles (e.g. PMBOK).
- Ability to effectively communicate complex information in writing to all levels of staff, management, and external customers.
Preferred Qualifications
- General knowledge of subsidized housing programs.
- PMP or similar qualification.
- Proficient in Microsoft Access or similar tools.
