What You'll Do:
- The Telehealth Veterinary Technician will participate and champion the support and education to Chewy's pet parents on products and services that help animal health and wellbeing.
- Provide subject matter expertise on companion animal health and wellness for Chewy Health.
- Participate in program development and improving training procedures.
- Identify and triage platform improvements and support innovative advancements.
- Collaborate with Chewy Health Team Members on the development of current and new services and products.
- Candidates must be willing to commit to working 40hrs/weekly
- Chewy offers full training and necessary materials for the vet tech to support and provide effective communication with pet parents efficiently.
- Chewy offers holiday pay on the following holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
What You'll Need:
- Active Vet Tech License / Certification (CVT, LVT or RVT)
- A Veterinary Technology associates or bachelor's degree from a NAVTA and/or AVMA-CVTEA accredited program, or equivalent is required.
- 3+ years of small animal veterinary experience or equivalent industry experience.
- Must have proficient computer skills as this will require interacting with customers and Chewy Team Members remotely through an online platform.
- Someone who adopts forward thinking and curiosity.
- Has exemplary listening and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask comfortably.
- Is comfortable collaborating with other veterinary technicians, veterinarians, applying a team-oriented environment.
- Is passionate about helping people and pets with compassion and excellent customer service focus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable in a fast paced, self-starter environment.
- The Team Member's internet speed must be at least 50 Mbps (download) and 10 Mbps (upload).
- Have a designated working space that is quiet and free from disruptions.
- Minimal travel required.
