As a Technology Operations II - Institutional Trader Support in our Technology Operations team, your initiative and creative problem-solving will help propel global innovation in technology and business. Working with a team of motivated collaborators, you'll develop and implement strategic technology solutions, ensuring the successful integration of network system and applications servers into existing and new technology infrastructures. You'll play a key role in the care and support of customers, including proactive incident monitoring. In addition to valuable on-the-job experience, you'll receive coaching, mentorship, and a host of other development opportunities to advance your career at the firm and beyond.
Job Responsibilities
  • Monitor incoming tickets and manage tickets across North America
  • Assist Front Office & Traders for technology issues
  • Troubleshoot Virtual Platform environment Win10 and Win11 OS
  • Quickly escalate issues to other support teams if necessary
  • Maintain transparent communication with the client and relevant parties
  • Multi-task between tickets and projects.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Formal training or certification on Software Engineering concepts and 2+ years of applied experience.
  • Required Desktop Support Experience 5+ years or minimum 3+ years with Trading or Front Office
  • Advanced knowledge in infrastructure projects, operations systems, and data analytics
  • Proficiency in: Microsoft Office, VPN, Virtual Machines, Remote Connectivity products, Exchange and Active Directory
  • Ability to identify problems, troubleshoot, and deliver strategic solutions to clients
  • Effective collaboration and communication to achieve common goals and maintain a company standard of excellence
  • Good knowledge of Windows/MAC OS with the ability to carry out root cause analysis
  • Strong analytical and problem resolution skills
  • Strong knowledge of Mobile Devices (Android, Apple smartphones, tablets) and Mobile applications ( Zoom, Office Mobile, Securid RSA Token)
  • 3+ yrs experience with Market Data applications like Bloomberg, Reuters, Factset, etc..

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Preferred experience ServiceNow, Splunk
