Job Description
The Home Lending Marketing Team is responsible for managing acquisition campaigns, engagement campaigns, digital content, and related marketing activities. We are seeking to find a talented professional who will be responsible for compliance/regulatory reviews of marketing materials/communications across various marketing channels. This role provides regulatory oversight and guidance for marketing and communications, supporting business processes to achieve marketing goals by addressing complex issues from strategy to execution.
As a Vice President in the Home Lending- Marketing Regulatory Review team, you will serve as a subject matter expert for all relevant home lending regulatory obligations. Your role will involve providing compliance expertise and guidance to the Home Lending Marketing team. You will be expected to collaborate effectively with others, demonstrate strong attention to detail, exercise sound judgement, and utilize robust problem-solving skills. These skills will be crucial in supporting a robust controls environment, managing risk, and enhancing efficiencies. Your role will also involve interfacing with senior leaders in marketing, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Fair Lending, and Controls, and assuming a leadership role as required.
Job Responsibilities
  • Perform compliance/regulatory reviews of all marketing materials/communications across various marketing channels confirming compliance.
  • Provide guidance and support to key stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Advise the team on compliance requirements and provide compliance support for new/enhanced products/services and communicate compliance requirements.
  • Serve as Product liaison, attending recurring calls to maintain awareness of product changes which may have Marketing impact.
  • Serve as Compliance liaison, including working closely with partner on periodic testing.
  • Perform monthly reporting on regulatory reviews.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with key partners within Legal and Compliance.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of internal processes to enhance efficiency and speed to market.
  • Assist with the Marketing Claims process and collaborate with marketers to train them on claims identification and management.
  • Serve as the Home Lending Marketing liaison to the CCB disclosure team (e.g., Golden Source library) and manage the Home Lending Marketing Disclosure Library.
  • Support internal exams/audits and federal regulatory examinations and inquiries.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance in home lending, particularly in marketing and digital media.
  • Demonstrate the ability to effectively manage multiple initiatives to completion under concurrent, rigorous deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders across the firm.
  • Demonstrate good judgment, insight, and the ability to support a robust controls environment, manage risk, and enhance efficiencies.
  • Proven leader with experience in regulatory, compliance, risk, and/or audit.
  • Working knowledge of advertising/marketing practices across various channels such as direct mail, email, digital, and social media.
  • Knowledge of home lending regulations and familiarity with consumer protection and lending regulations at state and federal levels, including CFPB, FDIC, OCC, and state regulatory bodies.
  • Excellent decision-making skills, ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with urgency to meet SLA's and deadlines.
  • Ability to work closely with the team and others in Legal, Compliance, Risk, Fair Lending, and Controls.
  • Excellent project management skills with a keen eye for detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, capable of influencing strategic direction.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • Ability to work with departmental workflow/job management systems (e.g., AdTrax and Workfront).
  • Experienced in project management, control oversight, and risk management.
  • Proficient in advertising/marketing across direct mail, email, digital, and social media.
  • Knowledgeable in consumer lending and protection regulations at state and federal levels.
