Blue Matter wishes to hire for the Technology and Operations Practice within the Blue Matter Insights Team. Our Technology & Operations practice integrates strategy, data, and AI to deliver scalable, technology-enabled solutions that enhance commercial and operational effectiveness for biopharma clients. As part of this growth, the practice is developing a category-defining AI-first platform called Twine — designed to modernize how life sciences companies manage insights, decisions, and operational workflows across the enterprise. • Manage and mentor a growing East Coast-based technology team.
  • Coordinate delivery between onshore and offshore teams.
  • Contribute to the enhancement, scalability, and go-to-market buildout of Twine.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, innovation, and technical excellence.

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to senior life sciences stakeholders.
  • Strengthen and expand East Coast client relationships.
  • Lead proposal development, capability presentations, and account growth efforts.
  • Translate complex client problems into platform-enabled technology solutions.
  • Support expansion of Twine-powered offerings across client accounts.
3. Technology & Innovation (20%)
  • Design and implement modern data warehouses, lakes, and analytics platforms on AWS / Azure / GCP.
  • Architect agentic AI solutions for commercial, operational, and market-facing use cases.
  • Develop data pipelines and enterprise-grade APIs.
  • Guide development of analytics and decision automation layers.
  • Feed emerging capabilities into the ongoing Twine product roadmap.
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 11+ years of experience in technology consulting, life sciences analytics, or enterprise data architecture.
  • Proven track record leading and delivering large-scale data and AI initiatives in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, Spark, and Databricks.
  • Familiarity with agentic AI architecture and LLM-based solution design.
  • Deep understanding of life sciences datasets (IQVIA, claims, CRM, lab data).
  • Executive presence with strong communication and client advisory skills.
  • Experience building or scaling technology-enabled platforms strongly preferred.
