About Battle Creek Games

Battle Creek Games is the studio behind some of the most-played racing mobile titles in the U.S., including No Limit 2, Offroad Outlaws, and American Marksman, reaching millions of players worldwide. If you’re excited about contributing to a beloved racing franchise, we’d love to hear from you.

About This Role

We’re seeking an experienced Technical Recruiter to work alongside our Head of Recruiting and partner with our leadership team as we scale rapidly in the first half of the year. In this role, you’ll own full-cycle recruiting across engineering, product, design, and other teams while ensuring a thoughtful, data-driven hiring process. You’ll be instrumental in helping us hire ~30 exceptional teammates, and you’ll build the foundation for a scalable recruiting function. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire position with the potential to convert to full-time based on performance and business needs.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for engineering, product, design, and roles outside of those domains, from intake to offer.

  • Partner closely with hiring managers to define role requirements, sourcing strategies, and interview processes.

  • Build and maintain strong pipelines through outbound sourcing, networking, and innovative talent attraction strategies.

  • Run a structured, candidate-first process that reflects our values and delivers an excellent experience.

  • Own and optimize workflows in Ashby, including setting up job postings, stages, scorecards, and reporting.

  • Provide consistent and transparent communication with stakeholders, including weekly pipeline reviews and hiring forecasts.

  • Operate with a data-driven approach: analyze funnel metrics, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvements.

  • Ensure hiring momentum to meet the target of ~30 hires in the first half of the year.

  • Contribute to employer branding, interview training, and recruiting operations improvements as needed.

What You Bring
  • 3–5 years of experience as a technical recruiter (in-house or agency) with a focus on engineering, product, and design roles.

  • Proven success in recruiting for fast-moving SaaS companies or similar high-growth environments.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills and a comfort level with advising, partnering, and pushing back as needed as a trusted talent expert.

  • Hands-on experience using Ashby or another modern ATS, with the ability to navigate, optimize, and report on activity.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple reqs at once and deliver hires quickly without sacrificing quality.

  • Excellent communication skills, candidate relationship skills, and a high level of professionalism.

Nice to Have
  • Strong data and reporting skills with an ability to build dashboards, analyze funnel metrics, and forecast hiring needs.

  • Experience implementing or improving recruiting tools, processes, and workflows.

  • Exposure to employer branding, DEI recruiting initiatives, or talent operations projects.

  • Previous experience in a contract or early-stage environment where ambiguity and change are constant.

Why Join Battle Creek Games?
  • Impactful Contribution: Play a hands-on role in advancing one of our most popular racing titles.

  • Collaborative Culture: Enjoy a supportive environment where cross-team collaboration and rapid iteration are highly valued.

  • Professional Growth: Expand your expertise by working alongside experienced teammates hailing from EA, Small Giant Games, Rovio, and Pocket Gems.

  • Competitive Compensation: Receive a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and flexible work options.

Ready to Accelerate Your Career?

If you’re excited about creating top-tier racing experiences for millions of players, and you thrive in a dynamic, collaborative setting, send us your resume, portfolio (if available), and a brief introduction to your background. Join us and help take our multiple titles to the next level!

  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
