We are looking for a Product Manager to join our growing team and drive the roadmap for Wowza Streaming Engine. You will own the product lifecycle from vision to launch, balancing customer needs, technical possibilities, and business outcomes. 

This is a highly visible role where you will collaborate with Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Sales to define requirements, validate features, and ensure successful adoption. 

Responsibilities 

  • Define product vision and roadmap for Wowza Streaming Engine, and integrated AI/ML features. 
  • Gather and prioritize requirements from customers, partners, and internal teams. 
  • Author PRDs, opportunity statements, and business cases that clearly outline the “why” and “what.” 
  • Work with Engineering teams to break down requirements into epics and stories, ensuring high-quality delivery. 
  • Partner with Marketing and Sales to develop positioning, pricing, packaging, and go-to-market materials. 
  • Track competitive trends and use insights to sharpen Wowza’s differentiation. 
  • Define success metrics (ARR, adoption, retention, usage) and monitor product performance. 
  • Champion the voice of the customer and ensure security, scalability, and developer-first experience remain core to everything we build. 

Qualifications 

  • 3+ years of Technical Product Management experience in SaaS, streaming media, developer platforms, or adjacent industries. 
  • Strong technical understanding of video workflows (protocols like HLS, RTMP, SRT, WebRTC) and/or cloud services. 
  • Familiarity with AI/ML in media (object detection, speech-to-text, translation, QoE analytics) is a plus. 
  • Proven ability to define product vision, write clear requirements, and work cross-functionally to deliver results. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence at all levels. 
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with distributed teams. 
  • Experienced in Agile methodologies and project management, with the ability to run sprints, manage backlogs, and coordinate cross-functional teams. Brings structure and accountability without slowing innovation, ensuring projects are delivered on time while aligning with long-term strategy.

Compensation Details: $100,000 - 130,000 (USD)

The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of our compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies.
