Own end-to-end technical onboarding and certification for electronic trading clients, from connectivity testing through production launch. Coordinate Development, Infrastructure, Compliance, Legal, Clearing, Business Development, and clients; validate FIX connectivity and routing; configure accounts and trading setups; monitor post-launch message quality and behavior; manage readiness, blockers, recertification, regulatory reporting, and post-trade requirements. Serve as the primary responder for onboarding issues and ensure repeatable, operationally disciplined processes.
As IMC continues to grow its client liquidity business, the technical onboarding of new clients has become central to how reliably and quickly those clients can access our liquidity. We are looking for a Technical Onboarding Manager to take dedicated ownership of the end-to-end onboarding and certification process from the first connectivity test through to a fully certified, production-ready client.
In this role you will sit at the intersection of our execution development teams, infrastructure, compliance, business development, and our clients. You will own the technical integration so that our developers can stay focused on building, and so that every client interacts correctly with IMC liquidity from day one. No two onboardings are identical, and the person in this role will make a considerable impact as the firm scales its client business.

You will own the technical integration so that our developers can stay focused on building, and so that every client interacts correctly with IMC liquidity from day one. No two onboardings are identical, and the person in this role will make a considerable impact as the firm scales its client business.
Your Core Responsibilities:
- Own client certification across test and production environments.
- Validate client connectivity and routing setup.
- Coordinate the process across legal, compliance, clearing, infrastructure, development, and business teams.
- Ensure internal readiness across data, pricing, strategy configuration, and client setup.
- Monitor client connectivity, message quality, and trading behavior post-launch.
- Track dependencies, blockers, readiness, and certification through go-live.
- Ensure regulatory and post-trade readiness, including TRF and CAT reporting, AGU agreements, and trade reconciliation, in coordination with Mid Office and Compliance.
- Act as first line of response for onboarding-related issues and trigger re-certification where required.
Your Skills and Experience:
- Approximately 4+ years of relevant experience in client onboarding, connectivity, or client-integration engineering within an electronic trading environment; experience leading a regional onboarding or connectivity desk is an advantage.
- Strong FIX and electronic trading knowledge: a solid grasp of the order lifecycle (fills, rejects, cancels, IOC, short flags, sequence numbers, resets, drop copy), FIX version differences, and client-specific implementations.
- Hands-on technical ability: comfortable reading code, running SQL queries, setting up accounts, and debugging client integration and session issues using logs, FIX messages, and configuration files.
- Highly organized, with a track record of managing complex onboarding processes end to end across multiple stakeholders and dependencies.
- A strong communicator who can bridge Development, Infrastructure, Compliance, Business Development, and clients, and who can clearly articulate risks and open issues.
- Operationally disciplined, with an understanding of certification, monitoring, recertification, and repeatable onboarding processes.
- Familiarity with US equities regulatory reporting (TRF, CAT) and post-trade processes is an advantage.
- Experience with JIRA and CRM tooling is an advantage. Equities product knowledge is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, and a team player. At IMC, we're all in it together.
