Job Description SummaryThe Talent Practice Specialist supports GE Vernova’s enterprise leadership approach by contributing to the design and advancement of talent practices that define, develop, and strengthen leadership across the company.
Working closely with the Enterprise Talent Development Leader and broader Talent CoE, this role contributes across a range of priorities — including succession planning, leadership assessment, development planning, and executive coaching — with a focus on the company’s most critical talent segments (top ~200 leaders, Enterprise Value Driver roles, and high-potential pipelines).
Operating across multiple initiatives and projects, the role helps identify talent gaps, develop practical solutions, and strengthen the consistency and quality of enterprise talent practices. Through close partnership with Talent, HR, and business leaders, Executive Talent Acquisition, and Learning & Development, the role supports efforts to build stronger leadership pipelines and reinforce a culture of rigor, transparency, and continuous development aligned with the GE Vernova Way.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design and evolution of enterprise talent practices across succession, potential assessment, development planning, and coaching
  • Support multiple concurrent talent initiatives and projects, flexing across priorities based on business needs
  • Analyze talent data and insights (e.g., succession depth, readiness, high-potential pipelines) to identify gaps and improvement opportunities
  • Assist in developing tools, frameworks, and materials that improve the quality and consistency of talent decisions
  • Partner with the Enterprise Talent Development Leader and broader CoE team to translate business needs into practical talent solutions
  • Support development of clear expectations for development plans, readiness, and differentiated talent outcomes
  • Collaborate with HR and segment teams to gather input and feedback, ensuring solutions are relevant and usable
  • Contribute to enterprise talent rhythms (e.g., executive talent reviews, succession discussions) through preparation of materials, insights, and structured outputs
  • Identify opportunities to improve or streamline talent practices based on feedback and observed outcomes

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ Years of experience in HR, Talent Management, Leadership Development, or related field

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $92,900.00 and $154,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
