What is Bilt?
Bilt is the membership for where you live.

What started as a way to reward people on their largest expense has turned into an ecosystem connecting our members, property managers and local merchants.
Travel, dining, fitness, everyday spend. We are building systems across payments, credit, loyalty, and commerce all at once.

We run lean and move quickly. Every person here has a real impact on what gets built and how fast it happens.

This role comes with real ownership and high expectations. If you prefer clearly defined lanes and structure, this will feel uncomfortable. If you want to build quickly, have a real say in what gets built, and work on products used by millions, you will likely do your best work here.
What’s the role?
As the Talent Sourcer and Coordinator, you will help support our most critical hiring needs across the organization. You'll focus on sourcing exceptional candidates across engineering, product, design, business operations, GTM, and more — partnering closely with our recruiting team and hiring managers to build robust pipelines of qualified talent and using creative sourcing strategies to find people who will thrive in our fast-moving, collaborative environment.

You'll also be the operational backbone of the team: making sure scheduling happens, pipelines stay clean and current, candidates get routine touchpoints, and every interview and meeting runs smoothly — so the hiring experience is a great one, inside and out. Expect the work to split roughly 50/50 between active sourcing and recruiting operations.

In this role, you will…
  • Source exceptional candidates across engineering, product, design, business operations, and GTM
  • Build and maintain robust, high-quality pipelines for hard-to-fill roles across multiple functions (both technical and non-technical)
  • Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to translate complex requirements into targeted search strategies
  • Create compelling outreach that engages passive candidates and drives strong response
  • Own interview scheduling and coordination
  • Keep pipelines clean and current in Gem, maintaining accurate status and data hygiene
  • Experiment with and build AI-driven workflows to create sourcing and operational efficiencies

In terms of qualifications, we’re seeking:
  • 2+ years of talent sourcing and/or recruiting operations experience
  • Demonstrated track record of building quality pipelines for hard-to-fill roles across multiple functions
  • Strong understanding of a wide range of roles and the ability to identify talent against complex requirements
  • Expertise with sourcing tools and platforms
  • Excellent written communication for compelling outreach and candidate engagement
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous, constantly evolving startup environment where priorities shift rapidly
  • Strong passion for operational excellence
  • Experience sourcing across both technical and non-technical role types
  • Passion for experimenting with and building in AI
  • Hands-on experience with Gem (ATS / Sourcing / CRM) and LinkedIn Recruiter

Benefits:
  • Compensation - We offer a competitive salary with a meaningful stake in the company via equity and our performance bonus program.
  • Medical Insurance (for you and your loved one) - We offer a variety of different subsidized medical plans (with dental and vision), including a free HDHP with a company-sponsored HSA contribution. We have you covered from Day 1.
  • Wellness Benefits - Enjoy a One Medical Membership, Wellhub (Gympass) Access, family planning programs and more, on us.
  • 401k plan with a match - Retirement may feel more like a pipe dream than a reality but we’re here to help you get there.
  • Commuter FSAs - We believe the best ideas come from being together in one place. We just don’t think getting there should be so expensive.
  • UNLIMITED PTO - Because we believe that working hard shouldn’t mean always working. Take time for yourself as often as you need it.
  • Exclusive Employee only Bilt Points - We give our employees unique opportunities to earn points throughout their time at Bilt.
  • Team Events - We believe in human connection so we hold events to help our employees break from the monotony of the typical work week.

At Bilt Rewards, we believe in transparency and we do our best to make sure the company and our candidates are on the same page as it relates to compensation. In addition to posting salary ranges for our open roles, candidates should expect to be asked about compensation expectations and requirements early on in their interview process. Our goal is to highlight when expectations and Bilt’s salary range may be out of sync, and work with the candidate to determine whether it makes sense to continue conversations.

We are considering candidates with differing levels of expertise for this position. Leveling will be based upon your experience and performance in the interview process.

Where a new hire falls within a range will be based on their individual skills and experience, and how these competencies compare across other employees in the same role. Bilt's bands are designed to allow for individual compensation growth within the role. As such, new hires typically start at the lower end of the range. Bilt rewards performance and outcomes - should you join the company, you will have the opportunity to grow your salary over time.

The salary range for a Talent Sourcer and Coordinator is $80,000 - 95,000 and will be eligible for equity and an annual performance-based bonus.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
