Job Overview:
SharkNinja is seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to fill the role of SVP, Channel Marketing. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective channel strategies to drive revenue growth and enhance market presence. This senior leadership role requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record in channel management, partner relationships, and a deep understanding of the industry. This role will oversee key components of SharkNinja’s channel offerings including Short Form Media, Long Form Media, Digital, Public Relations, and Social Media. This role will oversee a team of Director and Sr Director talent.
Key Responsibilities:
Channel Marketing Strategy Development:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive channel strategy aligned with overall business goals and objectives.
- Identify and evaluate new channel opportunities to expand market reach and increase revenue.
Partner Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing channel partners, ensuring their satisfaction and engagement.
- Identify and onboard new channel partners, negotiating terms and agreements that align with company objectives.
- Provide guidance and support to partners, fostering collaboration and mutual success.
Sales Enablement:
- Collaborate with the Sales and/or the Strategic Sales & Analytics (SS&A) teams to create effective tools and resources that enable channel partners to drive sales and meet targets.
- Implement training programs for partners to enhance product knowledge, sales skills, and overall performance.
Performance Monitoring and Analysis:
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of channel strategies and partner performance.
- Analyze data and market trends to identify areas for improvement and innovation in channel management.
Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the budget for the channel management department, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve strategic goals.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other departments, including sales, SS&A, product development, legal, HR, creative teams and finance, to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of strategies.
Market Research and Competitive Analysis:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to inform channel strategies and business decisions.
Risk Management:
- Spot the smoke. Always. Identify potential risks and challenges within the channel landscape and develop proactive strategies to mitigate them.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in channel management, with a proven track record of success.
