EKTERLY (sebetralstat) is a novel plasma kallikrein inhibitor approved in the United States, European Union, United Kingdom and Switzerland for the treatment of acute attacks of hereditary angioedema (HAE) in people 12 years of age and older. About the role:

The Supply Chain Process & Transformation Lead will play a pivotal role in shaping and advancing KalVista’s Global Supply Chain (GSC) organization. This role focuses on process improvement, operational efficiency, and business transformation - helping to build scalable, compliant, and high-performing supply chain operations that support KalVista’s growing clinical and commercial portfolio.

The Supply Chain Process & Transformation Lead will also serve as the project lead for global launch readiness, ensuring alignment across KalVista’s network. This includes orchestrating cross-functional plans, supply readiness activities, and operational execution to enable successful product launches globally. This role will report to the VP, Global Supply Chain.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, design, and optimize end-to-end supply chain processes spanning planning, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and distribution
  • Define and document global process standards, workflows, and ownership across functions and regions
  • Develop and maintain supply chain KPIs and performance dashboards that drive data-informed decision-making
  • Embed continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma) to increase efficiency, reduce complexity, and strengthen compliance
  • Ensure process governance, change control, and alignment with GxP and audit readiness requirements
  • Lead global and cross-functional transformation initiatives focused on improving operational performance and scalability
  • Partner with key stakeholders to translate strategic goals into executable improvement programs
  • Support business readiness for system enhancements by aligning processes, training, and change management activities
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the Global Supply Chain team
  • Communicate effectively with Supply Chain Leadership Team on project milestones, risks, and impact
  • Establish consistent performance management frameworks across regions and functions
  • Support S&OP and executive reporting processes with meaningful analytics and insights
  • Identify skill gaps and partner with functional leads to enhance organizational capability and process ownership
  • Promote best-practice sharing across sites and functions to drive global alignment and operational maturity

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field; Master’s preferred
  • Minimum 5+ years in global supply chain, operational excellence, or transformation roles within biotech, pharma, or life sciences
  • Professional certifications such as APICS, Lean Six Sigma, or PMP are advantageous
  • Demonstrated success leading process improvement and transformation initiatives across end-to-end supply chain functions
  • Solid understanding of ERP systems (SAP preferred) and their role in business process enablement
  • Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder influence
  • Experience in GxP or regulated environments is strongly preferred
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and facilitation abilities across all organizational levels
  • Skilled at simplifying complex processes and building practical, scalable solutions
  • Comfortable leading both structured projects and iterative improvement efforts
  • Hands-on, adaptable, and energized by working in a dynamic, growing biotech environment
