Job Summary

Supply Chain Analyst helps achieve procurement management operational objectives. Reporting to the Divisional VP of Procurement, he/she will work closely with the procurement team and Product Line Managers to support the supply chain operations with special focus on data mining, data analysis, and maintaining procurement systems. This role will be responsible for developing, reviewing, enhancing procedure and guidance documents for managing/executing daily planning activities/tasks.

As an integral member of the procurement team you will be involved in areas of master planning, forecasting, sourcing, inventory planning, logistics, and ERP optimization. This is a high visibility role that will collaborate with the entire breadth of the organization to ensure transparent communication.

 

Duties:

  • Analyze data to maximize supply chain efficiency while keeping the costs down for the company
  • Apply substantial mathematical skills to appropriately calculate supply chain costs and savings, safety stock levels, min/max parameters, replenishment levels and various inventory planning attributes.
  • Monitor planning action messages based on prioritization ranking and suggest future improvements
  • Maintain procurement planning data integrity in ERP Help establishing key performance metrics and benchmarks related to planning and forecasting.
  • Analyze, manage, monitor KPI reports and identify key insights to inform strategic decisions
  • Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset to lead and drive continuous improvement activities with cross functional teams.
  • Help identify inefficiencies in the filling and shipping of company (inbound-outbound) orders and find solutions to improve efficiency and eliminate waste
  • Maintain close, co-operative relationships with key internal customers including product line managers, manufacturing, engineering, logistics, trade compliance, marketing, IT, sales etc.
  • Review processes and procedures across the entire procurement organization to recommend optimization opportunities. Develop drafts for policy and process changes under the direction of management.
  • Analyze inventory health and create digestible action oriented reporting for 10,000+ SKUs
  • Setup and manage data into Navision including but not limited to item setups, costs, purchase orders, etc.
  • Communicate with other departments within the organization to identify efficiency issues, develop solutions and implement changes.
  • Develop detailed test scripts, unit test programming changes and generate use case scenarios 
  • Develop and maintain market data analysis for various commodities
  • Other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of experience, 10 years prefered, in high volume inventory planning and forecasting.
  • BS in Engineering / Business / Economics / Statistics or similar field with 5-8 years’ experience in a supply chain role. Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management and logistics a plus.
  • Experience with Dynamics Navision ERP system modules, Jet Reports, Power BI and SQL is preferred
  • Proven knowledge of inventory management modules in ERP
  • Ability to pull and assimilate data from different systems
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle overlapping projects, keep track of deadlines, and efficiently use their time in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills including ability to work in a team environment, providing honest, direct feedback and history as a solid solutions-focused communicator.
  • History of an ability to handle ambiguity, changing priorities and good judgment in high-pressure situations.
  • Ability to multitask, handle multiple issues and work under pressure while maintaining composure.
  • Ability to document current functionality and process flows, and suggest areas for future improvements
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required
  • Demonstrated ability to work with others from diverse backgrounds.
  • Proficiency with general IT systems and applications
  • Self-motivated, works independently and as part of a team. Able to learn effectively and meet deadlines. Demonstrates problem-solving skills.
  • General knowledge of business and process analysis functions such as information flow, transactional flow, data tables architecture
  • Demonstrated forecasting and planning skills. 
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical personnel at various levels in the organization. Preferred Languages: English, German, Russian
Pay Range

MA: $62,500 - $72,656
