The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for collaborating with BJ’s internal business units, as well as key vendor partners to execute strategies that will drive efficiencies for the organization to reduce total supply chain costs. The Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for analyzing vendor performance, identifying problems, arrive at conclusions and develop recommendations that support and enhance the BJ's compliance program. This role is responsible for examining procedures and developing recommendations which streamlines existing activities to meet corporate objectives.

General responsibilities include:

  • Provide updates and resolutions through summary reports and correspondence
  • Provide analysis of KPI’s for suppliers and distributes them to stakeholders
  • Assists in developing and maintaining the association with suppliers by establishing and cultivating relationships with key individuals at target vendors
  • Partners with Merchants, Finance, Logistics and DC/Club Operations to gather and interpret relevant data
  • Investigates problems, finds root causes, and develop solutions
  • Coordinates supply chain activities as required
  • Support new initiatives and ad hoc projects with data analysis and reporting
  • Provide support to the Planning & Allocation, Transportation and DCs team as needed
  • Support other ad hoc projects as needed      

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and/or demonstrates capability to perform job responsibilities through previous experience
  • 2-4 years of retail experience preferred
  • Supply Chain Management experience a plus
  • SAP or similar ERP systems experience a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite; intermediate to advanced Excel skills required (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.)
  • Familiarity with distribution center processes a plus
  • Ability to process a high volume of information accurately and efficiently
  • Detailed oriented, excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
  • Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external partners
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment

This is a hybrid role. Tuesday through Thursday are in-office days at BJ's Club Support Center in Marlborough, MA and Monday and Friday are remote days.

In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ’s Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is starting from $56,500.00.
