*Please note, this is a full-time opportunity based in our Needham, MA office. The position is for the Summer 2025 Intern term from mid-May to mid-August*
We are looking for a passionate summer intern. You thrive in a creative, dynamic work environment. As a member of the Product Development team, you will bring together a creative product marketing role and technical outlook to our creative efforts to ensure that imaginative but credible solutions populate our ambitious product roadmap. This role will be part of our growing Ninja Product Development team, working on a variety of new innovative kitchen products.
In this position, the intern will work alongside the product development team to help bring new innovative products to market.
Exciting things you'll get to do:

  • Partnering with Product Development team members to help with the successful product launches of new and cutting-edge products
  • Aiding Product Developers with maintaining their businesses through:
    • Collaborating with Brand Marketing and Creative teams on updates to product packaging, instruction guides, and more
    • Tracking our competitive landscape and providing analysis for areas of opportunity
    • Owning item (SKU) creation and accessory development for Domestic & International product launches
    • Coordination and execution of consumer research activities with internal and external testers in collaboration with Consumer Insights team
    • Tracking of findings and action items from consumer research and product reviews
    • Conducting ad-hoc analytical deep dives into consumer reviews - both Ninja products and competitors - to understand the consumer's point of view
  • Aiding Product Developers with technical needs through:
    • Connects with engineering teams based in London, critical touchpoint analysis of prototypes, prints, and engineering builds
    • Coordinates and executes consumer testing with touchpoint prints and prototypes to evaluate acceptability or preference and report-out of findings to the team
    • KPI testing/product definition/spec setting - in partnership with Sensory/NPD/R&D/Testing team members
    • JIRA ticket creation and updating
    • Sample management and coordination and for retailer meeting needs

Education and Experience

  • The ideal candidate will have completed at least one prior Internship or Co-op in an engineering, product development or consumer products role
  • Recent Grads encouraged to apply
  • Great communication skills
  • Self-starter, energetic, keen to learn
  • Flexible in approach
  • Presentation skills - must be proficient with Powerpoint and comfortable developing and presenting to large groups either in person or over Teams
  • Familiarity and working level skills with MS Project (or similar), Excel, Powerpoint
