ESG INTERN 

Work Period: Mid-May through Mid-August (12 weeks total)

Location: Onsite 5 Days a Week, Needham, MA. This position has no relocation or housing assistance.

OVERVIEW: 

SharkNinja, a multi-billion dollar consumer products company, is seeking an ESG Intern. Reporting to the Manager, ESG Data and Reporting, the intern will assist with ESG strategy implementation and reporting activities. The intern will also help raise awareness of ESG across the company, engage associates in ESG initiatives, and help plan ESG-related associate activities.   

Here are some of the EXCITING things you’ll get to do: 

  • Research ESG topics to assist in strategy development. 
  • Conduct research on global ESG regulation.  
  • Support data collection and responses to ESG-related inquiries from investor rating organizations and retailers; conduct gap analyses against current data. 
  • Assist with implementation and integration of data into our ESG data management system. 
  • Help plan and execute associate events in Needham office and coordinate similar events in other major offices. 

ATTRIBUTES & SKILLS: 

  • College student majoring in business or sustainability-related field. 
  • Fluent in English. 
  • Superior analytical capabilities (i.e., analyze data to inform strategy) 
  • Motivated self-starter, with ability to identify and drive innovative approaches to address new challenges. 
  • Highly organized and detail oriented. 
  • Strong project management, technical and analytical skills with proven ability to drive for results, pivoting when relevant to enable speed to solution. 
  • Strong interpersonal and written, verbal and presentation communication skills, with the ability to develop a high degree of personal credibility across diverse internal and external stakeholders and senior leaders. 
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm for ESG and sustainability.
