Overview: 
The Subscription Manager (SM) at PTC is pivotal in driving the growth and retention of annual recurring revenue (ARR) within the Subscription Management Sales Organization. Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, they ensure revenue targets are met while maintaining strong customer relationships and promoting PTC’s vision across the ecosystem. 

 

In this exciting role, you will be part of the Subscription Management Team which falls under the Customer Success organization. You will work directly with customers and collaborate with the entire PTC ecosystem to secure on time renewals and ARR. Key Responsibilities: 

 

Contract Growth Strategy – Driving ARR growth and increasing Customer Lifetime Value (CLTV) by maximizing the potential of customer’s renewal event. Collaborate with clients to understand needs, negotiate terms, and maximize value.  

Renewal Target Achievement – Meeting or exceeding perpetual and subscription renewal targets both quarterly and annually. Ability to identify and communicate risk to ensure stable forecasting.  

Relationship Management – Building and maintaining relationships with PTC Go to Market (GTM) teammates and other members of the PTC ecosystem to ensure a successful renewal. 

Customer Satisfaction Focus – Leveraging the PTC ecosystem to ensure optimal levels of satisfaction for PTC customers throughout the entire renewal journey. 

Effective Communication – Ability to confidently communicate PTC’s vision throughout the entire customer org chart and at timely intervals to keep customers engaged.  Skillfully negotiate win-win situations to ensure long term customer commitments.  

 

Qualifications: 

  • Experience with software sales and/or renewals 

  • Experience with Salesforce processes and sales hygiene best practices 

  • Relationship management experience 

  • Detail oriented 

  • 3-5 years customer-facing experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred 

 

Preferred Experience: 

  • Proactive, self-motivated and takes ownership for problem resolution  

  • Must be results and customer oriented   

  • Ability to motivate cross-functional team members to achieve goals and objectives 

  • Relationship management experience preferred
