We are currently recruiting a Strategic Sourcing Student to support our Network Services team in LatAm North.
The role will support the supplier onboarding, contract negotiations, performance & spend data analysis, and broad process optimization opportunities that add value to Ericsson and our Customers.
This role offers the opportunity to impact and improve real world projects and gain experience in all aspects of the Sourcing process.
What you will do:
Support sourcing activities by coordinating supplier quotations, collecting commercial information, and maintaining sourcing project trackers.
Assist Strategic Sourcing Managers throughout sourcing projects by preparing RFQs, comparing supplier proposals, and consolidating bid evaluations.
Review and follow up on Change Requests (CRs), ensuring proper documentation, approvals, supplier feedback, and status tracking.
Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to obtain quotations, clarify commercial requirements, and support project timelines.
Support supplier onboarding activities, including collection, validation, and tracking of required compliance documentation.
Assist in supplier compliance reviews, including legal, tax, labor, and regulatory documentation requirements applicable in Mexico.
Maintain and update sourcing dashboards, spend reports, savings trackers, and project status reports using Excel, Power BI, and AI-enabled tools.
Analyze procurement and spend data to identify trends, opportunities for process improvements, and reporting insights.
Support the administration and organization of sourcing documentation, contracts, supplier records, and project files.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Legal, Operations, Deployment, and Project Management to support procurement initiatives.
Participate in continuous improvement and automation initiatives aimed at increasing sourcing efficiency and data quality.
