The Role

The Strategic Program Manager will lead the executive portfolio management function across Digital Priorities for the Enterprise. You will be create the processes and assets to successfully plan, track, and manage demand across multiple strategic portfolios of work. You will be accountable in maintaining executive facing roadmaps, Portfolio Transparency, and ensuring alignment across Executive level routines (Executive Meta Scrum/Executive Action Team/Executive Reviews). The role will partner with a matrixed network of leaders at an enterprise, business unit, and technology function level to understand business and technology commitments and ensure leaders have the information they need to successfully deliver against these commitments, proactively detect areas of risk, and make prioritization decisions to ensure the most important work is delivered.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • 10+ years of portfolio / program management or related technology / operations leadership
  • Build and manage outstanding relationships, drive collaboration, and leverage executive level communication across Fidelity Business Units. Technology teams and Product areas.
  • Ability to investigate details, consolidate findings, and summarize recommendations.
  • Strong ability to lead and influence across Fidelity without formal authority.
  • Strong focus on execution and the ability to identify, communicate, and remove impediments to progress.
  • Intellectual curiosity with a strong desire to understand key trends across technology, both within and outside of Fidelity, and apply takeaways locally.
  • Consistent track record of collaborating to build consensus across multiple levels of the organization.
  • Ability to balance multiple efforts independently and Comfortable with complexity and ambiguity.
  • Strong experience in planning, prioritizing, and delivering in a Scaled Agile environment.
  • Experience leading sophisticated, cross-functional programs with both direct and matrixed management responsibilities.
  • Proven strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and articulate connections across separate, but related concepts.
  • Strategic problem solver, with the ability to drive Strategy to execution via strong Objective and KPI's
  • Experience with Jira and Jira Align preferred.

You will use strategic leadership, influence, program management and executive level communication skills to support our overall transformation to a Platform enabled and Capability-led Digital Future.
