Responsibilities:
- Process Automation & Data Governance
- Liaise with Data and Engineering teams to develop scalable SQL-based data pipelines, improving reporting speed and accuracy
- Continuously improve workflows, identifying opportunities to automate and standardize reporting
- Data Visualization & Insights
- Develop interactive Tableau dashboards tracking KPIs, unit economics, and P&L trends
- Consolidate results and craft presentations that drive data-backed decision making
- Financial Modeling & Forecasting
- Maintain and refine the company-wide financial model
- Build scenario model tools to evaluate new product and market initiatives
- Stakeholder Communication
- Prepare management- and board-ready presentations summarizing performance, forecasts, and strategic initiatives
- Translate leadership questions into concise analyses and recommendations.
- Strategic Projects
- With guidance from senior team members, support special projects that analyze the impact of proposed business decisions
Qualifications
- 1 + years in a data-driven finance, consulting, or fintech role
- Bachelor’s in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Math, or related field
- Proficiency in SQL for data transformation and analysis (Snowflake experience a plus)
- Demonstrated skill with at least one BI tool (Tableau, Looker, or Power BI)
- Advanced Excel and financial-modeling capability; solid grasp of P&L and forecasting concepts
- Strong PowerPoint skills and storytelling ability for technical and non-technical audiences
- Proven success juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with high ownership
Preferred
- Experience with alternative-investment products or wealth-management platforms
- Familiarity with Python for data analysis and automation
- Knowledge of GAAP/IFRS principles and revenue recognition
- Prior experience building dashboards adopted by cross-functional teams

CAIS’ compensation package includes a market competitive salary, a performance bonus, and exceptional benefits. If you are located in New York, New York, the base salary range for this role is $80,000 - $105,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
