The Strategic Alliance Manager position helps the company to manage strategic partnerships and identify new areas of business to explore with them, developing and implementing business plans with the partner to provide revenue growth. This position creates synergies between Global Knowledge and Microsoft and enables synergies in their goals.  The Strategic Alliance Manager is crucial to leading the partnership and maintains orientation to mutual success.

The Strategic Alliance Manager - Microsoft will be responsible for the relationship as a Microsoft Authorized Training Partner (ATP) and will be measured by growth in commercial revenue and internal partnership metrics measurement.

This position will be responsible and tracking and communicating the progress of the overall partnership performance globally. Key functions of the position include global implementation and execution of the partnership governance model, as well as establishing, communicating, and leading regional strategy and business planning, including driving opportunity creation, revenue expansion, cross-functional alignment and GTM execution.

REQUIREMENTS:

The Strategic Alliance Manager - Microsoft must be able to develop and maintain broad and deep external partner relations with a highly strategic partner while maintaining a high rate of commerciality and growth perspective. For that reason, the candidate would require:

SKILLS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build and develop commercial and strategic relationships with the partner.
  • Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree
  • Strategize new ways to grow the partnership.
  • Attend weekly strategy meetings to report on the business status of the assigned strategic partner, the different growth initiatives carried out, relevant marketing or sales actions and any information of interest related to the partner.
  • Build and nurture relationships with the partner’s sales, marketing, and product management teams to further our mutual business objectives (Co-sell)
  • Drive quarterly business reviews with region and global sponsors to track progress on aligned GTM focus areas / work streams and other interactions.
  • Deliver accurate weekly and quarterly forecasts
  • Joint account mapping & engage global sales teams
  • Enable to sell, sell thru, sell with sales plays
  • Understand and drive subsidy programs
  • Champion partner program changes that increase our impact
  • Solutions architect/Engineer support

Target base salary range for this job requisition is anticipated to be approximately $100,000 - $140,000 annualized with average on target earnings including commissions of approximately $150,000 - $190,000 annually. 

We also offer Enterprise benefits including but not limited to: medical, dental, vision, and paid time off.

The company may modify salaries, salary ranges and/or Pay Plans from time to time as it deems necessary.
