The Strategic Accounts Sales Executive will lead sales cycles for large school districts, building relationships and driving transformative deals while maintaining forecasted pipelines.

Role Summary
We are seeking a Strategic Account Sales Executive to own and advance a defined territory of the largest, most high-impact school districts in the nation. In this role, you will act as a consultant and orchestrator, navigating multi-layered decision-making environments to close transformative deals. We aren't just looking for a top closer; we are looking for a force multiplier who will elevate our organization’s strategic selling capabilities within our nation’s largest school systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and lead end-to-end sales cycles across a defined territory of complex, high-impact school district accounts, conducting senior administrator-level discovery to align district strategic priorities, funding streams, and instructional initiatives with Goalbook’s solutions.
- Design and execute tailored account strategies, navigating extended, multi-stakeholder buying environments to maintain momentum and drive successful closes.
- Build and sustain trusted relationships with cabinet-level and senior school district leaders and key stakeholders, positioning Goalbook as a long-term strategic partner rather than a transactional vendor.
- Architect deal structures that enable sustained instructional impact and lay the foundation for long-term expansion.
- Translate large district buyer insights into actionable feedback that informs product roadmap decisions and strengthens enterprise messaging.
- Rigorously maintain and forecast pipeline across complex, multi-year enterprise sales opportunities.
- Elevate the team’s sales capabilities by collaborating with peers and exchanging market knowledge and best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience: 4+ years of sales in the K-12 EdTech industry with demonstrated success closing large school district deals. Special Education solution-related experience preferred.
- Strategic Mindset: Proven ability to manage multi-year sales cycles and navigate complex and matrixed decision-making environments.
- Executive Presence: Comfortable and persuasive when engaging with the highest-level administrators at the nation’s largest school districts.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to align solutions with customer budgets and long-term strategic initiatives.
- Proven track record as part of a collaborative and high-performing sales team.
