Now, more than ever, the Toast team is committed to our customers. We’re taking steps to help restaurants navigate these unprecedented times with technology, resources, and community. Our focus is on building the restaurant platform that helps restaurants adapt, take control, and get back to what they do best: building the businesses they love. And because our technology is purpose-built for restaurants, by restaurant people, restaurants can trust that we’ll deliver on their needs for today while investing in experiences that will power their restaurant of the future.
Every day, many thousands of servers, hosts, and chefs use Toast POS (Point of Sale) to serve millions of guests in their restaurants. To make our restaurants successful, we need to develop products that install painlessly, work together seamlessly, and quickly guide restaurant staff and Toast team members to resolve any problems that occur.
Who We Are
Financial Management is a growing team within Toast focused on solving one of the biggest challenges in the restaurant industry: managing cash flow. Restaurants operate on narrow margins with high turnover, making financial stability critical. By building integrated tools like Cash Flow Insights, Bill Pay, and the upcoming Books product, we empower operators to streamline payments, gain real-time visibility into their finances, and maintain accurate records, all seamlessly within the Toast platform. Together, these tools form a unified financial suite that simplifies operations, improves accuracy, and gives restaurants the confidence to focus on what they do best: hospitality.
We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to help build Toast Books and support the continued growth of Cash Flow Insights and Bill Pay. Toast already powers over 100,000 restaurants as the leading restaurant platform, which uniquely positions us to provide tailored financial services like lending, equipment financing, and banking products designed specifically for restaurants. As part of our team, you’ll play a critical role in expanding Toast’s financial ecosystem and shaping the next generation of products that help restaurants thrive.
