About the Role:

CrowdStrike is looking for a Staff Product Marketing Manager to lead product marketing for the Proactive Security portfolio within Falcon Cloud Security, spanning Cloud Risk and Developer Security. This senior individual contributor will define how we help customers identify and prioritize risk, prevent issues from reaching production, and remediate them at the source.

You will own positioning, launches, core marketing materials, field readiness, analyst engagement, and adoption. As a strategic thought partner to Product and CTO leaders, you will bring a clear, evidence-backed view of market direction and customer needs to help inform product strategy and establish CrowdStrike's leadership in proactive security.

The ideal candidate combines deep cloud and application security expertise with independent strategic judgment, exceptional storytelling, and hands-on execution. You are comfortable shaping future-facing strategy and personally producing high-quality work that earns credibility with practitioners, analysts, Product leaders, and executives.

What You'll Do:
  • Own portfolio strategy and launches – Define the market thesis, target audiences, customer problems, priority use cases, positioning, messaging architecture, competitive strategy, and core marketing bill of materials. Lead launches with clear owners, milestones, dependencies, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Help shape the future of proactive security – Partner with Product and CTO leaders on market direction, category evolution, competitive shifts, and technical trends. Bring customer, field, and analyst insight into strategic discussions. Identify capability gaps, emerging use cases, packaging opportunities, and product experience improvements, and recommend priorities and tradeoffs that inform Product-led roadmap planning and go-to-market strategy.
  • Build technical credibility and proof – Create demos, architecture walkthroughs, technical content, customer stories, and code-to-cloud use cases for developers, DevSecOps, AppSec, platform engineers, and cloud security teams. Explain workflows, differentiation, outcomes, and limitations, grounding claims in validated documentation, customer evidence, threat intelligence, or subject-matter expertise.
  • Establish thought leadership – Develop a differentiated point of view on cloud risk, developer security, software supply chain threats, shift-left security, code-to-cloud remediation, AI-driven risk investigation, and the convergence of cloud security and exposure management. Bring it to market through technical content, presentations, events, and executive narratives.
  • Lead portfolio analyst engagement – Own briefings, inquiries, evaluations, research responses, and competitive assessments in partnership with Analyst Relations. Align portfolio narratives with broader CNAPP positioning and major market evaluations.
  • Drive field readiness, adoption, and competitive success – Equip sellers and sales engineers with discovery questions, technical proof, demo paths, competitive guidance, and objection handling. Engage customers to validate messaging and buying criteria, identify adoption barriers, and inform Product and go-to-market planning. Use pipeline, win/loss, product usage, and customer feedback to refine priorities and measure impact.

What You'll Need:
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in product marketing, product management, technical marketing, or related enterprise cybersecurity roles, including significant cloud security, application security, DevSecOps, or exposure management experience.
  • End-to-end portfolio ownership, including market strategy, roadmap input, positioning, launches, analyst engagement, field readiness, adoption, and competitive response.
  • Deep knowledge of proactive cloud and application security, including CNAPP, CSPM, KSPM, CIEM, cloud vulnerability management, attack paths, exposure analysis, risk prioritization, software supply chain security, and code-to-cloud remediation.
  • Strong developer security expertise, including infrastructure as code, software composition analysis, secrets, CI/CD security, container and image security, Kubernetes admission controls, ASPM, and the relationship between build-time risk and runtime context.
  • Strong understanding of AWS, Microsoft Azure, and/or Google Cloud, including cloud architectures, identities, developer workflows, infrastructure automation, and cloud-native development.
  • Exceptional writing, positioning, presentation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to personally produce technically accurate, evidence-backed materials that resonate with practitioners, buyers, analysts, and executives.
  • Independent judgment and operational discipline, including source-supported competitive analysis, cross-functional leadership, senior stakeholder influence, and the ability to manage ambiguity, incorporate feedback, surface risks early, and deliver multiple priorities without direct authority.
  • Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes.

What Success Looks Like:
  • A differentiated, technically credible portfolio story that makes Falcon's role in customer workflows clear.
  • On-time launches with validated claims, technical proof, field and analyst readiness, and measurable adoption plans. Core materials meet the brief with limited substantive rework.
  • Product decisions informed by customer and market insight, with cloud risk connected to the broader Falcon Exposure Management strategy through concrete integrations, workflows, and joint narratives.
  • Measurable improvement in adoption, feature usage, pipeline contribution, competitive win rates, seller readiness, analyst outcomes, and customer engagement.
