DescriptionVerily Workbench is the researcher-facing core of our AI-driven precision health platform, designed to harmonize and curate comprehensive, multi-modal datasets for the life sciences and pharma industries. By modernizing and simplifying biomedical data analysis, Workbench facilitates safe collaboration and helps our partners accelerate R&D and reduce the time to market for critical therapies.
As a Staff Product Manager for Workbench Foundations, you'll be the driving force behind the Workbench’s core infrastructure. You will own the strategy for our multi-cloud architecture and lead the efforts to converge platform capabilities, enabling secure and scalable research for a diverse set of scientific communities.
ResponsibilitiesLead Multi-Cloud Strategy: Define and execute the roadmap for multi-cloud support across GCP, AWS, and future platforms (e.g., NVIDIA Cloud, MS Azure), ensuring customer needs are represented in partnership with engineering.
Drive Platform Convergence: Align Workbench with Verily’s Precision Health Platform as a trusted research environment (TRE), contributing to and leveraging shared functionality to meet the needs of researchers, data stewards, administrators, and academics.
Partner with Engineering: Collaborate with engineers, designers, and clinical informaticists to define product requirements, evaluate technical designs, prioritize features, and drive roadmap execution.
Influence Across Teams: Lead cross-organizational initiatives, building consensus among stakeholders to ensure a unified product vision and strategy.
Shape the Future of AI & Deliver Impact: Articulate and execute the vision for AI/ML integration to augment patients and care teams, while owning the product lifecycle from vision to delivery to measurably improve research efficiency and outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of hands-on experience in leading the definition, development, and maintenance of multi-tenant platform systems.
Experience leading designers, engineers, and clinical informaticists to build technical products in an agile environment.
Experience leading cross-organization efforts with stakeholders from many different functions.
Experience integrating AI into cloud-based software solutions, with the ability to articulate a vision for how AI infrastructure will support our solutions.
Demonstrated success in setting product vision, driving execution, and delivering solutions that measurably improve patient outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications
Deep experience and understanding of advanced features of cloud computing environments including GCP, AWS, NVIDIA Cloud, and Azure.
Experience working with Machine Learning models.
Experience working with health data and/or real-world evidence generation.
Experience building complex, cloud-based software solutions.
Knowledge of HL7 FHIR.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $152,000 - $217,000 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
