Where we work

Udemy is a global company headquartered in San Francisco, with additional U.S. offices in Denver and Austin, and international hubs in Australia, India, Ireland, Mexico, and Türkiye. This is an in-office position, requiring three days a week in the office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and flexibility on Mondays and Fridays.

About You

We are seeking an experienced Staff Product Manager, Mobile to join our team in a strategic, high-impact role. You will set the overall direction of our mobile apps and lead the development of innovative, engaging, and delightful experiences that help millions of learners achieve their goals. Overseeing key elements of the user journey, you will design and refine mobile features that drive growth and spark deeper engagement. Ultimately, you will shape how users discover and interact with content, creating meaningful and transformative experiences for learners.

Here’s what you’ll be doing

  • Define and drive the mobile app product strategy, development, and execution for discovery and engagement experiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including engineering, design, data science, and marketing, to craft experiences that inspire and empower learners on their journey. 
  • Operate with a high degree of autonomy, integrating strategies and tactics that align with the organization’s overarching goals and aspirations.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across the company to deeply understand learner needs and market opportunities, championing engaging, effective, and accessible experiences.
  • Leverage behavioral insights, learner feedback, and data-driven decision-making to prioritize initiatives, measure feature success, and iterate for continuous improvement.
  • Lead execution through all stages of the product lifecycle, from discovery and design to delivery and optimization.
  • Build trust and alignment within the organization, uniting teams around a shared vision to deliver meaningful business outcomes.

What you’ll have

  • 5+ years of product management experience with consumer-facing products.
  • Strong expertise in user-centered design, with a track record of partnering with designers to create intuitive and delightful user experiences.
  • Demonstrated success in leading large, complex product initiatives and driving measurable business outcomes.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Outstanding communication and collaboration abilities, with experience influencing and aligning diverse stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of product development methodologies and industry best practices.
  • Passion for lifelong learning and Udemy’s mission to improve lives through education

At Udemy, we strive to be transparent around compensation. Actual compensation for this role is based on several factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, qualifications, experience, and specific work location due to differences in the cost of labor. In addition to a base salary, this role is also eligible for equity.

Hiring Compensation Range
$150,000$187,000 USD
