Job Title: Staff Accountant
 
Position Summary:
 
Detail-oriented Staff Accountant with 3 years of experience in general ledger accounting, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and process improvement. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

    •    Prepare journal entries, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and support the month-end/year-end close process
    •    Review and reconcile credit card transactions 
    •    Review and reconcile accounts receivable 
    •    Develop and maintain Excel-based reports to analyze financial data and support month-end close and reporting processes
    •    Prepare schedules and gather documentation for external audits
    •    Collaborate cross-functionally with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and operations teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
    •    Research cash application transactions

Required Qualifications:

    •    Bachelor’s degree in accounting
    •    CPA Candidate or CPA Eligible
    •    1-3  years of corporate accounting experience
    •    Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principle
    •    Proficient in Microsoft Excel
    •    Excellent oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

    •    NetSuite ERP experience 
    •    BILL experience preferred
