Bracebridge Capital is in search of a Staff Accountant that will have a wide range of duties relating to the Management Company.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Handle accounts payable entry and payments
- Prepare and enter journal entries
- Assist the team with month-end close
- Perform monthly reconciliations to balance sheet and income accounts
- Support with the annual audits
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Prepare ad hoc reports
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in general ledger maintenance, month and year-end close, reconciliation and journal entries
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, meet deadlines, and deliver high quality, error free work in a fast-paced environment
- Approach all aspects of responsibilities with the highest level of discretion and integrity
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of QuickBooks a plus
