About the Role:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our marina team. This on-site position focuses on bank reconciliations and the accounts payable cycle, ensuring accurate financial records and timely payments to support day-to-day marina operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations.
Manage the accounts payable cycle from invoice processing to payment.
Record and post journal entries related to AP and bank activity.
Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting.
Maintain accurate records to support audits and internal controls.
Collaborate with operations staff to ensure proper transaction coding.
Qualifications:
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in service, hospitality, or marina operations.
Strong experience with bank reconciliations and accounts payable.
Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, Netsuite, or similar) and Excel.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently in an on-site role.
- Successful completion of a background screening including employment verification, reference checks and a credit check.
