Job Description

What You’ll Do

  • Manage requests through the Media Request System from multiple science departments.
  • Prepare buffers and media (from <1L to 2000L)
  • Review batch records through the Media Request System for data integrity.
  • Forecast and maintain chemical and consumable inventory.
  • Perform equipment standardizations, calibrations and preventive maintenance.
  • Perform glasswash and autoclaving of laboratory equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the prep lab.
  • Collaborate with the Supervisor and or Leads to address customer concerns and provide timely resolutions.
  • Maintain a Safety first Culture.
  • Participate in safety initiatives (Haz IDs, JDIs, incident reporting).
  • Suggest and implement process improvements.
  • Support onboarding and training new team members.
  • Perform other tasks within the statement of work.

What We’re Looking For

Experience:

  • High School diploma required; college degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of laboratory experience preferred.
  • Customer service experience is a plus

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to work independently.
  • Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to work in varied environments (cold rooms, hazardous materials, PPE required).
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $19.64–$29.45.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
