The role includes account planning, pipeline management, negotiations, and deal closure, working closely with commercial operations and fulfillment to drive winning strategies and meet commercial objectives.Job Description#LI-Remote - This is a remote position
Essential Responsibilities:
- Responsible for selling products, services, parts, solutions, and projects across South America, primarily in Brazil, Uruguay, Chile, and Argentina, serving both public and private sector customers.
- Interprets internal and external business challenges, recommending best practices to improve products, processes, and services.
- Applies strong judgment to make decisions related to product lines, markets, sales processes, and customer strategies.
- Uses industry trend analysis, data evaluation, and multiple internal/external resources to support sound business decisions.
- Communicates complex topics effectively, influencing peers and negotiating with internal stakeholders, partners, vendors, and customers.
- Leads high-complexity projects and maintains accurate project, opportunity, and outage data in NEX CRM (Salesforce).
- Builds demand and drives regional opportunity pipeline growth through customer discovery, strategic insights, and long-term account planning.
- Develops and executes winning proposal and deal strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams, supporting complex multi-offering sales including parts, repairs, outage services, upgrades, digital solutions, and long-term service agreements.
Required Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and/or a business-related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Solid experience in the power generation industry, with knowledge of aeroderivative gas turbine products and services.
- Solid of experience in Sales, Project Management, Commercial Operations, Technical Sales, and/or Customer Service within the power generation sector.
- Experience managing public and private customer accounts, including understanding tendering processes, budgeting, timelines, and customer business models.
- Strong account management capability, including relationship development with C-suite executives and executive-level presentation skills.
- Solid technical and commercial background, with preference for experience in LMS100, LM2500, and LM6000 technologies, plus broad understanding of the full commercial cycle.
- Strong analytical, financial, problem-solving, communication, leadership, and matrix-influence skills, with a customer-focused and solutions-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in tools such as Salesforce, SAP, MATLAB, and Microsoft Office, with ability to work cross-functionally, independently, travel as needed, and ideally be based in Brazil, Argentina, or Chile.
