Roles and Responsibilities
- The Project Quality Team Leader will support and lead large critical HDGT & Aero projects within the Americas Pole.
- Ensures that the defined level of Quality on the projects is measured, audited, reported and where necessary action plans are implemented and closely followed to address any issues.
- Support the Proposal Leader for quality management scope during ITO phase and Project Management during OTR phase.
- Promotes and facilitates sharing of lessons learned and best practices with the Projects and Functions Quality resources.
- Responsible for centralized quality assurance and control activities for a given project or group of projects.
- Manage and communicate Quality Leadership priorities and motivate the team to achieve them; create an environment that enables high performance by team members.
- Lead fulfilment of Quality deliverables in the project portfolios (Quality plans, Inspection & Test Plans Customer inspections, EoMRs, etc.), establish and communicate clear priorities for project quality activities as required.
- Provide resolution support for escalated project quality requirement issues.
- Drive effective and efficient continuous improvement within the Pole.
- Ensure that the defined level of Quality is measured, audited, reported on and where necessary action plans are implemented and closely followed to address any issues.
- Support QMS internal audits are planned, executed and CA/PA for findings are implemented in the Pole.
- Support ERS (Experience Response System) activities in the Pole.
- Take part in projects reviews, Monthly Op Reviews, where required.
- Advise, plan and follow up actions pertaining to customer satisfaction and project quality related issues.
- Promote the quality culture among internal & external customers.
- Provide feedback to the Global Projects Quality leadership about Pole challenges/trends to ensure global and Pole strategy alignment.
- Support LEAN principles and embrace LEAN, continuously challenge and take an active role in the continuous improvement of processes, procedures and deliverables in Project Quality organization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in technical discipline or business from an accredited university or college.
- 8 years experience in Project Management & Quality
- Minimum 5-years experience in power generation industry

- Effective time management skills & multitasking ability
- Problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities including working with large organizations and various levels of leadership. Able to present key data effectively and clearly.

- Highly motivated self-starter with initiative and interpersonal skills to direct cross-functional work with demonstrated project management ability to drive projects to completion.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $132,200.00 and $220,400.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
