Not only are we growing quickly, but The Boston Business Journal, The Boston Globe, and Inc. Magazine have all named us as a top place to work.

What You'll Do:

This is a rare opportunity to step into a high-growth company and shape how an emerging category leader shows up in the market. Our goals are ambitious, our market is evolving quickly, and we’re looking for a seasoned yet scrappy product marketer who thrives in fast-moving environments and wants to make a measurable impact. You will play a central role in strengthening Allego’s market leadership and helping revenue teams win.

Reporting to the VP of Marketing, the Senior Manager of Product Marketing will own the positioning and go-to-market narrative for the Allego Revenue Enablement Platform. This role will define target markets, buyer personas, and competitive positioning to create clear differentiation and customer value. You will translate product capabilities into compelling messaging, content, and sales tools that support launches, drive pipeline, and help close six- and seven-figure deals.

  • Own the product narrative. Partner with Executive Leadership, Sales, Product, and Marketing to shape and deliver clear, compelling positioning and messaging across all internal and external channels.
  • Enable our revenue teams to win. Equip Sales and Customer Success with insights, tools, and messaging that strengthen conversations and improve win rates.
  • Translate product value into market impact. Develop messaging and content for the website, campaigns, launches, webinars, sales materials, and social channels that clearly communicate customer value.
  • Stay ahead of buyers and the market. Monitor industry trends, Allego’s roadmap, and evolving buyer needs to generate fresh messaging and ideas that capture attention and resonate.
  • Surface insights from the field. Partner with Sales and subject matter experts to understand buyer challenges, identify content gaps, and prioritize high-impact enablement and marketing assets.
  • Lead market and competitive intelligence. Conduct research, customer interviews, and competitive analysis to deepen market understanding and sharpen strategic decisions.
  • Strengthen differentiation. Refine positioning and proof points to clearly distinguish Allego and elevate our competitive advantage.
  • Support analyst and market influence. Collaborate with the VP of Marketing and analyst relations partners to shape Allego’s narrative with firms like Gartner and Forrester.

Requirements

Experience You'll Bring:
  • 5+ years in Product Marketing, ideally within a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Exceptional communication, writing, and stakeholder influence skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and represent the company with credibility and professionalism.
  • A balance of creativity and analytical thinking, using data and insights to guide decisions while developing messaging that stands out in the market.
  • Strong program and project leadership skills, with a track record of prioritizing and executing multiple initiatives from concept through launch.
  • Experience partnering with executive leadership, including the CEO, CPO, and cross-functional leaders, to align strategy and drive go-to-market success.
  • A proactive, self-directed mindset, with the ability to take ownership, operate independently, and drive initiatives forward with minimal oversight.
  • Experience marketing to financial services, life sciences, or high-tech organizations is a plus.
  • Familiarity with sales enablement, revenue enablement, or adjacent markets is a plus.
Culture and values:

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
