Job description
Akeneo is shaping the future of product experience, and we are looking for a passionate Senior Product Marketing Manager to join our team. Reporting to the VP of Product Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in executing go-to-market strategies, building product enablement content, and developing impactful messaging that drives product adoption and revenue growth. We are looking for someone who has strong experience in the enterprise space and a track record of delivering solutions for premium and enterprise buyers within MDM, IT departments and senior leaders.
This role is perfect for someone eager to collaborate cross-functionally and take ownership of critical product marketing initiatives in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
Key responsibilities
As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will own and drive core product marketing initiatives end-to-end, acting as a strategic partner to Product, Sales, and Go-To-Market leadership. This role focuses on the enterprise efforts of our solution and requires strong strategic judgment, proactive leadership, and the ability to translate market insight into measurable business impact. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
1. Enterprise Market Insight & Messaging Leadership
  • Own enterprise market insights, developing a deep understanding of premium and enterprise buyers (including MDM and IT decision-makers) through direct customer and prospect engagement, field input, and market analysis.
  • Lead the evolution of enterprise-focused personas, ensuring messaging reflects expectations around scale, security, governance, and technical credibility.
  • Translate insights into clear, authoritative, and technically credible messaging that drives enterprise acquisition and supports complex buying cycles.
  • Act as a strategic partner to Product, Sales, and GTM leaders, ensuring enterprise needs are reflected in positioning, roadmap input, and customer-facing content.

2. Product Launch & Narrative Ownership
  • Lead messaging, positioning, and value narrative development for product launches, major enhancements, and strategic initiatives.
  • Own the creation and execution of customer-facing launch assets (product guides, blogs, videos, web content), ensuring consistency and clarity across channels.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Enablement teams to drive cohesive, high-impact launches that accelerate adoption and revenue.
  • Provide strategic input into launch planning, prioritization, and post-launch performance evaluation.

3. Product Enablement Strategy & Execution
  • Define and lead product enablement for assigned products or solutions, ensuring alignment with company GTM priorities and revenue goals.
  • Own the creation of high-impact enablement assets (one-pagers, competitive positioning, feature slides, personas, pricing & packaging) that directly improve win rates and field effectiveness.
  • Lead enablement delivery through live training, demos/videos, and scalable content, ensuring adoption and consistent messaging across the field.
  • Establish feedback loops with Sales and Revenue leaders, using field insights to continuously refine messaging, positioning, and enablement approaches.

4. Packaging, Pricing & Monetization Strategy
  • Own pricing and packaging strategy to drive premium and enterprise adoption and increase ACV, in close partnership with Product and senior executives.
  • Influence product direction by shaping premium feature definition and differentiation, ensuring enterprise value is clear and defensible.
  • Develop and enable scalable pricing and packaging frameworks, equipping Sales with clear guidance, value narratives, and long-term monetization strategy.

What we look for
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8+ years of Product Marketing experience in SaaS or enterprise software.
  • Proven ability to drive strategy through market insight, influencing GTM, product direction, and monetization decisions.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise and premium buyers, with experience supporting complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles (e.g., IT, MDM, platform, or security audiences).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of clear, credible, and technically grounded messaging.
  • Demonstrated success partnering cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Revenue leaders.
  • Analytical, outcome-driven, and comfortable using data, research, and customer insight to inform decisions.
  • Highly autonomous, organized, and effective at owning initiatives end-to-end in fast-moving environments.
  • Strong executive presence, with the ability to deliver polished, high-impact storytelling and slide s.

You don't need to tick every box. We strongly encourage candidates from all backgrounds to apply. If you are excited about this opportunity but your experience is slightly different, we still want to hear from you!
