PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $156,200.00-$190,800.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $121,200.00 - $225,800.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE:

As a Senior Product Manager, you’ll shape the future of business banking solutions that help members manage payments, invoicing, cash flow, and growth. You’ll take ownership of complex product initiatives from discovery through launch and ongoing optimization, translating member needs, market insights, and business goals into meaningful solutions. Working at the intersection of strategy, technology, operations, and member experience, you’ll influence decisions across the enterprise and drive products that create measurable value. This role is ideal for a product leader who thrives in ownership, embraces complexity, and is motivated by continuous improvement. Your work will directly impact how BECU serves and supports small business members.

To join our dynamic team, we require candidates to be residents of WA, OR, ID, AZ, TX, GA, SC, NC, CA or VA. If you’re located in Washington state and within a reasonable driving distance from Tukwila, we are requesting that you come into our HQ on Tuesdays & Wednesdays. For those candidates that live outside the commute distance of TFC and in any of our approved remote work locations, this role will be remote. Remote or onsite, we are committed to ensuring you are fully engaged and included in our collaborative environment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Product Strategy & Ownership
  • Define Product Vision:  Develop and own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for complex products, systems, and applications while ensuring alignment with member needs, organizational priorities, and long-term business objectives.
  • Drive Product Development Lifecycle:  Lead products through the full lifecycle, including research, concept development, solution design, prioritization, delivery, launch, and ongoing optimization.
  • Identify Growth Opportunities:  Develop and implement strategies that support business growth, drive adoption, and create value for members and the organization.
  • Champion Member Needs:  Gather and assess member feedback, market trends, regulatory considerations, and industry insights to inform product direction and decision making.
Business & Financial Management
  • Own Product Performance:  Define, monitor, and evaluate key product metrics, including member experience, financial performance, operational outcomes, and business impact.
  • Guide Pricing & Business Decisions:  Develop pricing recommendations and business cases that support strategic, financial, and growth objectives while ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Leverage Data & Insights:  Analyze member behavior, performance trends, and operational data to identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.
Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Lead Enterprise Collaboration:  Partner closely with teams across Technology, Architecture, Operations, Compliance, Legal, Finance, Customer Service, and business functions to deliver successful outcomes.
  • Influence Strategic Decisions:  Facilitate alignment across stakeholders and drive informed decisions that balance member value, business goals, risk considerations, and technical feasibility.
  • Build Strong Partnerships:  Establish productive working relationships with development teams, business partners, and vendors to ensure successful execution and long-term effectiveness.
Delivery & Continuous Improvement
  • Manage Priorities & Releases:  Define release goals, manage competing priorities, and ensure effective delivery across one or more products, systems, and applications.
  • Measure & Optimize Outcomes:  Monitor product performance against established objectives, identify improvement opportunities, and adapt roadmaps based on results and evolving needs.
  • Capture Learnings:  Evaluate successes, challenges, and lessons learned to continually refine product strategies and strengthen future outcomes.
  • Support Additional Initiatives:  Contribute to other projects, priorities, and responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a technology, business, or related discipline required. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Typically requires 7 years of product management, product development or product or equivalent experience with platform technology. Experience working in an agile environment preferred.
  • Previous experience overseeing all elements of the product development life cycle required.
  • Experience in managing highly effective cross-functional teams required.
  • Previous experience understanding and determining product strategies based on the voice of the customer required.
  • Experience managing and maintaining vendor relationships required.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Self-directed and able to proactively identify business and customer needs and opportunities, overcome barriers, influence, and formulate solutions with minimal supervision preferred.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills required.
  • Experience within financial services, fintech, banking, or credit unions.
  • Experience with payments products and services, including ACH, wires, bill pay, peer-to-peer payments, real-time payments, or related payment technologies.
