PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
Determine, analyze, validates and lead the definition of critical business processes in support of developing integration components integrating applications throughout FMCNA. Manage the implementation of integration tasks associated with a given project in a framework consistent with other development efforts. Responsible for directing project teams to refine business processes and defining viable technology-based solutions to identified issues.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as a technical and business process consultant and designer to corporate operations and clinical teams to identify, analyze and document business processes, determine requirements and provide guidance in setting priorities for clinical IT projects. This includes but is not limited to:
- Gathering requirements from stakeholders via discovery sessions, draft reviews of Business Requirements.
- Identifying and documenting business workflow challenges and re-engineering options that could be implemented through creative system and/or business process modifications.
- Identifying resource needs and leading IT project teams in design, development, testing and implementation of key corporate projects.
- Provide business process re-engineering expertise by focusing on the analysis and design of workflows and processes within the clinic operations. Create simpler workflows to manage daily operations while increasing efficiencies.
- Work with software vendor to guide new feature development by:
- Identifying, documenting and expressing need for new features.
- Documenting requirements.
- Validating vendor’s proposed solution by participation in vendor-led customer design teams.
- Testing newly delivered functionality.
- Identifying deficiencies and creating new requests.
- Provide leadership and guidance to other analysts in the creation and validation of requirements and design documents to include business requirements, use and test cases and training support.
- Lead large project teams and coordinate efforts across functional tracks. Take projects from initial inception through final completion by establishing and documenting project scope and objectives, creating schedules, monitoring and reporting on project milestones and addressing any issues which may impact project progress.
- Work directly with product owners to ensure a complete understanding of the business requirements.
- Lead the gathering of requirements from stakeholders via discovery sessions, draft reviews of Business Requirements and shared responsibility with the engineering team for the development options.
- Lead a team of business systems analysts in defining standards for functional specifications gathering.
- Facilitate the estimation process for all Integration projects.
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
- Manage Quality Assurance in Functional and End to End testing relationship with Q/A.
- Manage User Acceptance Testing.
- Review and comply with the Code of Business Conduct and all applicable company policies and procedures, local, state and federal laws and regulations.
- Assist with various projects as assigned by a direct supervisor.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s Degree required; Advanced Degree preferred
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Minimum of 12 years’ related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or a Master’s degree with 8 years’ experience; or a PhD with 5 years’ experience; or equivalent directly related work experience.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills are required.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Strong organizational, project management and process analysis skills.
- Experience and knowledge of healthcare delivery and dialysis clinic operations.
- Proven success implementing business process re-engineering strategies.
- Proven knowledge with integration tools and products.
- Must be able to lead virtual project teams across broad-based projects.
The rate of pay for this position will depend on the successful candidate’s work location and qualifications, including relevant education, work experience, skills, and competencies.
Annual Rate: $117,000.00 - $196,000.00
