Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a small team focused on the production of recurring deliverables, such as the validation of performance data in internal and/or vendor systems and the production performance reporting.
- Partner within Operations, Technology, and Vendors to ensure data quality and to identify and resolve issues related to performance data and reporting.
- Provide leadership and participate in performance measurement initiatives. This includes leading improvements impacting performance data, systems, and processes and ensuring thorough documentation of work processes are in place and maintained.
- Provide leadership, coaching, setting goals, and conducting performance reviews with direct reports.
- Influences and regularly interacts at all levels of the organization, including Senior Management, Portfolio Managers, Marketing Professionals, and Legal/Compliance Professionals.
- Develop policies and procedures for the performance measurement functions.
- Develop short and long-term business solutions for departmental initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of investment concepts.
- Critical thinker with strong problem solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools, such as Microsoft Excel and Access.
- A strong team player who is able to successfully meet deadlines.
- 5+ years work experience in investment management or financial services.
- 2+ years of people leadership experience.
- BS/BA degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of performance measurement concepts; CIPM preferred.
- Work experience specific to performance measurement and analytics.
- Proficient with data and report automation.
- Advanced experience with performance systems, such as Factset, Confluence, Morningstar, and Lipper.
